Not of Samael, or the druid that entered. She was afraid of Callie. The young warlock had just sealed her house shut. Maybe even cast some sort of forbidden spell. How could she know? The book never talked about any limitations. Until a few minutes ago she didn’t even know that bone-pendants could be dark magic. Well, she didn’t kill the hawk for the hawk skull, so according to Callie’s explanation, her magic might still be okay. Maybe it was just a faulty spell? Maybe not even that. Maybe Callie would just be mad for making a mess. One, undoubtedly Alexis would help clean up. But then Callie apologized instead. Which felt odd to Alexis. Callie didn’t do anything wrong really. It was she who reacted a little harsh. So she looked rather apologetic to Callie. Who has been nothing but kind to her. But she did keep Magnus in her eyes and didn’t look to apologetic at him. She was calming down, though. Which kind of made her realize just how many powerful people were in the room. Which, in turn, made her choke up as Callie talked. When the Witch asked if Alexis was ok, she could just nod and outstretched her arm with the closed bestiary. Assuming that she was no longer privy to such information. There was a certain shame in her eyes as she looked down. Callie may not hold it against her, but Alexis sure as hell held it against herself. She should have controlled her spell better. Then Magnus talked, much to the annoyance of Alexis. While she was a little ashamed towards Callie, she felt no such thing for the intruder who couldn’t even guess gender well! “I’m a witch!” she sneered at him. Only betraying that she didn’t know the correct difference between witch and warlock. “One that doesn’t like you.” She stated further, looking rather angry at Magnus for the insult. All this kept distracting the small stings of pain she felt in her right finger from the cut, which was still bleeding.
