And at that, the most famous member of their family had been Archibald Gray - whom had been a loyal knight to a former Lord Tully. Past those times, the Grays had been famous for their bards and and musicians, instead of the martial pride of their ancestor. However, due to the recovering damage of the Riverlands - banditry was still common, during those times. When she was a teen, her carriage had been attacked at the time, while she had been singing a nursery rhyme to her two baby sisters. Upon being forced out and attacked, Merebelle kept humming - a thing she learned, that had kept her from getting nervous, whenever she had tutoring lessons with her masters. The tone ended with her, alive with her baby sisters alive - and the bandits dead upon her feet. After that event, Merebelle' world was shaken - that her family or that of royalty could be attacked so easily and in turn decided to take upon her Greatfather' armor. While her House wasn't wealthy, they did manage to hire an old hedgeknight to teach her the skills of a knight. Her will to learn and defend her home, was aided by the time - that the Riverlands was more lax in people taking up arms, due to their home being the sight of multiple conquests and wars. When she turned twenty-two, she was allowed to carry her own sword - namely that which had been carried since by her ancestor; namely nicknamed as Whisper, an ordinary longsword, yet upon which their greatfather ha accomplished many great things. For the time, Merebelle Gray has been serving House Tully for a good seven years dutifully. Notes: Merebelle has a strange quirk of humming or singing a melody or song - whenever, she engages in combat.
