History: Reynard was once a highly respected man. Captain of the guard in the city of Gallica, and an esteemed warrior in his own right. He even met the Hero himself in his early days of adventuring, offering him a job clearing out a band of demons from a nearby cave.

Reynard would forever regret not killing the Hero immediately. Soon after taking the throne, the Hero destroyed Gallica, Reynard himself narrowly avoided death having been in the capital to try and rally aid for his city. He returned to ashes, and made it his sworn duty to depose the Hero or destroy himself in the attempt.
