[indent]Luca is a very reserved and private person that prefers to be alone more often than not. While he is not averse to interacting with people and can hold a decent conversation, he may choose not to respond to questions and almost always remains silent during conversations. He rarely laughs and have only been seen to smile twice. Because of this, he can come across as cold and peevish. He is extremely observant and notices things most people don't, a trait that makes him an excellent judge of character, if not perfect. He is also, ironically, empathic but refuses to show it.

He downplays his abilities and usually displays only what is necessary, making him almost look relaxed while fighting. He has only shown the extent of his skills once and has never repeated it again. It was what earned him the name Silver Storm and made him qualify as a Templar.[/indent]

[indent]Born to a family of assassins, Luca was trained to be one at a very young age. Having chosen a particularly difficult weapon to master, he trained day and night, often injuring himself with the sharp blades. Both his parents, being hardened veterans in the field and being hired killers for the Empire, always acted callously and turned a blind eye to his cries of pain. He would often fall asleep where he trained, too exhausted to even care that he had not eaten the whole day. 

His father, time and again, told him that there should be no space for emotions in their line of work and worked hard to instill this into the young boy. His mother was more forgiving in the sense that she always treated the young boy's many cuts and bruises. However, that was all the affection he ever received, the efforts he had put into his training often unacknowledged and unrecognized. As a result, he often thought that it wasn't enough and always doubled his efforts in proving how far and how good he had gotten. 

The training method passed down onto his family was extremely effective but it made Luca grow into a very reserved and quiet young man. He never sought out affection nor did he expect any complements or gratitude.

At the young age of 19, he was brought by his father to the Citadel. He was pitted against the best of the best and with such a big audience, Luca, for the first time, felt that desperate need to prove himself to his parents and gain their approval. He unleashed his full potential that even the old couple, for a moment, looked afraid of him. The look on their faces, made him pull back, just in time before he annihilated his opponent.

After the fight, he was ushered into the Citadel, never even given the chance to say goodbye to his parents. That was the last time he ever saw them.

Were his parents so afraid of him that they decided to just leave him there? 

It was a question he would never be able to find the answer to as he received news three years later that his father succumbed to an infection and his mother died in the line of duty.[/indent]
