What... What had happened? For a time there Yumi's consciousness had faded out and she'd lost track of the battle only to come to as explosions rocked the city. Had the Elites been defeated? Fatigued as she was it was difficult to tell who was still nearby from energy signatures alone so to check she lifted her head, squinting against the sunlight that near blinded her. She could see a large tear in the roads nearby from some massive attack and one Elite, the one with the quills, was notably absent. Where was the other one though? And what of Viral? Looking around nervously she gasped when a large explosion went off behind her and nearly lifted her off of the ground, grasping onto a ruined slab of concrete to keep herself planted. In the midst of the explosion she noticed a figure fly by her from the epicenter, and with silent horror she realized the figure was none other than Viral. Had he been caught in that explosion? It was Ki so it couldn't have been his own, what had happened? Seeing him almost buried beneath rubble she let out something between a guttural yelp and a howl as she tried to move towards him, barely able to get up on all fours never mind run over. Dragging herself over with one arm desperately she gasped when someone grabbed her from behind, struggling at first then stopping when she realized it was Kabocha. "Let me help," Kabocha offered with a meek smile, kneeling down and slinging one of Yumi's arms across his shoulders. By now the fighting in the vicinity had died down entirely and though everyone was injured and exhausted they had survived. Well, everyone but Viral, they had all seen the explosion and feared the worst. Straining to support the taller woman he carried her over to the rubble where Leto was already busy at work tearing away pieces to clear the way to their friend. Flying over the remaining debris Kabocha felt his stomach churn uncomfortably and Yumi stiffen beside him at finding Viral, his bloodied and beaten state hardly screamed healthy. Landing before him they had barely touched down when Yumi pushed off and staggered forward, watching her sympathetically as she attempted to help. Leto climbed over the pile as well to join them and looking up at the Yulian it seemed like he wasn't the only one thinking the worst. "Do we have anyone who can help him?" "Not yet, we're still the only ones here..." Leto muttered grimly, then noting how crestfallen Kabocha became he smiled and clasped him on the back, "Fear not my young friend! The Yulian military will be showing up any moment and they'll have a medic! Viral will be just fine!" He had to be, it would be an unfitting death for someone was proud and capable as him. Looking skyward as he spotted the others he waved them off for the time being, not wanting to crowd Yumi and Viral at the moment. They needed to try and get help even if it might be on the way, the sooner they had someone to tend to the commander the better. "Kabocha, you can still fly? See if you can find us help, we'll remain here in case there are more troops." "Right... I'll be back!" Viral really didn't look great, with luck they'd get him help in time. Glancing back once again and seeing Yumi trying to stymie the bleeding of his wounds. Swallowing nervously he turned and flew past Kai and Choi, making a straight shot towards where they had seen fighting before. Battles all around had ended and he could only hope that it meant the Yulians had won and the Saiyans were defeated. But what if there were more Elites? If he ran across an Elite by himself -- No, he couldn't worry about that now, he had to focus on getting help for Viral and not himself. "You're going to be okay Viral, you're going to be okay." The reassurances were as much for Viral as for Yumi herself as she uttered the phrases repeatedly, hoping perhaps they'd help the situation. She was no medic though, none of them were, and the wounds Viral suffered could potentially be fatal for all she knew. Fighting back tears as she fought to cover whatever she could she had to resort to tearing both Viral's and her own clothing for fabricated bandages, whatever she could manage to find. After only covering a few her hands were slick with his blood and her eyes stung from the tears falling, her breath shaking as she continued to work with trembling hands. Looking him in the eye she managed a smile before choking out a sob and working on tying another strip of cloth around a wound. "P-Please just stay with us, look at me, t-talk to me, you're going to be a-a-alright!"
