Why would you even punch a Chomp?  It'd be like suckerpunching a Thwomp.  Or a Whomp.  Or any other rock.
Then there's Bullies which are like mini Chomps with feet and without teeth...

Depends on what kind of Deku you're talking about.  Shrubs are not quite Monsters (they can be but they're not unintelligent and can engage in civilized trade if nothing else).  Babas [i]are [/i]Monsters since all they do is lash out and bite.
