His skin is naturally quite fair, yet it is stained by the kiss of the sun to remain a pale copper color in the areas he would leave exposed. It is marred by a variety of small marks and nicks, of close calls and wounds taken in the field represented by pinkish scar tissue. Prominently, a line of this damaged skin runs from the front-left of his throat up along his jawline and across the corresponding cheek to the very edge of his lip, a gift from his time with the Legion and the occasionally rowdy characters it attracts. His hair is dark and earthen by comparison to his less than colorful flesh. No longer kept to the standards of a more restrictive outfit, it hapzardly flows from his scalp to the area just above his fairly prominent ears. By contrast, the the hair which decorated his face is kept neat and tidy in a short, tasteful beard. His eyes, sharp like the angles of his face, are a pale green color and contrary to the less than friendly look he carries, usually full of a mirthful spark betraying a more jovial man than some would assume.
Skillset:
Talents one has either naturally or through education or training of some sor
History:
Danut was born the second child of two poor Romanian peasants in the waning years of the nation's communist era, too young to so much as remember the violent revolution which ousted the oppressive dictator Nicolae Ceausescu. Instead, Danut's early memories revolved around the turbulence and economic downturn which followed the liberation. His father, the primary breadwinner, struggled to provide for Danut and his older sibling, Mikhail. Toiling in whatever menial jobs he could find to put food on the table, Danut's sire caved out a modest life for his small family at the cost of crass coldness and outright aggression. Unwilling to follow in the foot steps of his father, Danut looked to uplift himself from the poverty he had known since birth. While many would approach this with education, the life of a student was not for Danut. While his elder brother excelled in his studies, the younger brother struggled and eventually gave up with schooling entirely, dropping out of secondary school at the age of sixteen. Faced with the prospect of working himself into misery and alcoholism as his parent before him, Danut instead was saved by the promise of another option. A school companion, whom had also dropped out in the months prior, regaled him with stories of his uncle, whom had escaped the regime in the 70s and made way for France to serve in the Foreign Legion. He had, according to this chum, managed to make himself a small fortune and earned citizenship in the more prosperous nation in the process. Intrigued by this, and increasingly pressured by a less than enjoyable home life, Danut made arrangements with his acquaintance to accompany him to France and once on French soil, seek out the nearest recruitment station. The life of a legionnaire would soon become his.
