Kellie just returned from a quick lunch upstairs as a new costumer entered the shop. "Nice face" her mother whispered with a little bit of a mischievous look in her eyes towards her daughter. "Quit it.. Cupid" Kellie said and rolled her eyes. "You really need a man around Kell.." her mother said. "Mom!" Kellie said, a little loud. She looked up at Raymond and smiled. "I'm sorry.. Can I maybe help you with something? " she asked and did a few steps away from her mother. She felt her mother's eyes burning in her back. "I'll finish the roses for you and then head home.. Don't forget to ask his number!" Kellies mother said and then disappeared to the back of the store. Kellie, who stood near the register and working table, had a pair of bright red cheeks now and a very embarrassed feeling. "I.. I'm sorry.. She can be really a pain.. You probably know how mothers can be.. She said with a soft smile. "I eh.. I will give you 50% off of your flowers for how she just did" she said. She looked at the male and had to admit to herself though, he was handsome and had a certain mystery hanging around himself. That and from his complexion and hair color she could see that he wasn't a 'regular' American. Maybe born here or something, but he had something else running trough his blood and that had always been a thing Kellie liked.
