[@ShieldsOfWar]Well, he's a single father with a young daughter (7 or 8) that's also a mutant, so it's kind of two characters.

The idea is that he didn't tell his wife he was a mutant, and when their daughter started getting her chameleon powers at the age of 6 she left him over it.  I figured that would fit this story well.
