He would have told the man his own name, but his throat felt sealed shut. He kept his eye on the wooden charms, still fairly certain they were just a going to make him do as told by some means. Why else would he be dragged out by a stranger to an inn only inhabited by about 5 or 6 people, one of whom just happening to have magical items that will cure exactly the ailment he confessed to having? He was still pretty new to the idea of magic. He had always been aware of its existence, but it had never played a large role in his life and he didn't know how any of it worked. He wasn't even aware of his own magical potential. He pulled his hand away from the man after a second or two, refusing to make eye contact or even avert his gaze from the floor. He remained silent, knowing that if he managed to speak at all it would only make him appear more fearful and pathetic. He also had to worry about remaining conscious; he knew that much. If he went into a seizure now, hell only knows where he'd be when he woke up. He didn't want to give a bunch of highly suspicious strangers another chance to take advantage of his vulnerability. He'd already allowed them to drag him out to a place where he was pretty sure nobody could hear him scream if he happened to be brutally murdered. That was a stupid idea and he didn't even remember why he'd decided to go with it at the time. But it was far too late to do anything about it now.
