I can't tell if they'd like eachother or hate eachother. I usually have a good feel for how my characters will respond, but...
Advent probably might not hate Voice initially, but she might take his "oh that's some cool shit you got there" entirely the wrong way, be hostile in attitude as a result and then that drives a wedge between them. Also his opinion of her predicament would be kind of similar to her doctor actually, fix the shoddy workmanship with more mods, because they value their intellect and power incredibly highly and think others should as well. But he respects her opinion that the situation sucks, would probably be sympathetic with that idea after seeing her cycle of decay. yeah it's tricky, seeing as they have to work with each other, being enemies or not on talking terms would be inconvenient. also your char's shifting personality is making it tricky as well, though I guess paranoia!Voice won't get along with anyone. I imagine the fact that we have described them both as cheerful means they might get along well if they can work out their differences. which would make for good character development. Going to need to think about this.
They both rely on biotech to live, but one sees it as a gift and the other sees it as a curse. They're both academics, but one was purely curious and the other wanted to create monsters. They're both mages, but one works with the basics of life and the other with the basics of the universe. Yin-yang :lol
It's even worse than that, Advent doesn't actually need his mods, he could remove them all and be fine because they are deliberately noninvasive, even when he alters his own body he has the pattern memorized for how to change himself back to baseline human. Unlike Voice Advent (or i guess Seb in this case) can go out in public and not be stared at.
