He wanted to feel what it was like to be outside, without having to leave his room. The only people who know his face are the select few servants he has hired, the guards at the gate - and his sister, who has found his hatred for the world amusing. He had intended on creating a seperate server for himself, so that he did not have to mingle with other people - live a life in Haven, peacefully. But she insisted that he join the public server, the only server available. He went through the codes, the programming - encrypting everything. Everything was server side, behind a firewall that he had programmed with an AI so no hackers could beat it. His education was minimal, meaning he only attended a few years before realizing that he did not belong in an educational environment. Litheal designed the game to not only live up to his expectations, but to see how far he could take technology. The game itself was unlike any other, You were not in control of a powerful creature, you were you - in a costume. The gameplay would resort to how capable the player, not solely based on the players character. If an overweight player decided to play a nimble assassin, they would find themselves exhausted. The game not only uses the players thoughts, it also requires the player to play back what they want to happen. The testers had not known this once they went through the tests, a lot of them were . . lets say not in good physical condition, an hours worth of playing the testers were covered in sweat and physically and mentally exhausted. A lot to expect from a game that requires absolutely no physical movement. Litheal figured he would join the game, not altering his appearance to much. Knowing full well that nobody would recognize him. His secret was sacred to him, he did not need a fan club in his escape from reality world.
