Priest

Plan B
Things were getting out of control! Priest glared at the various dilemmas as they danced across the orb. He had no visual on Darric but that didn't stop him from overhearing the finale on their enemy and the ordering of the twins. Priest chimed in over the comms in response to Darric's decision to leave ahead of time. "Alright, Darric. Watch yourself." Priest discarded his snack and wiped the crumbs from his hand. "If they exhibit any strange powers do not hesitate to get a hold of me. Cults like this have a propensity for doing some strange stuff, worship, sacrifice." Priest held on to the last one, pinning it with emphasis. "Magic." He placed the orb down, seeing no point on continuing to play the role of support. That time was gone with their plan exposed. "I don't know the details but I'm well-read. Just - Make it out of there with Paige. Don't take chances with these guys." The ex-con man stood out of the chair and adjusted his casual red and black suit. A revolver pressed snugly against the inside of the jacket. He pulled it out and studied it for a moment, making sure it was properly loaded and hoping it would stay that way. Putting it back in, he pressed his hand against his ear-piece. "Well, cat's out of the bag and now it's hissing and clawing at us. Time for plan 'B'!" He started walking down the stairs, making his way through the haven to his parked car. His van was out with NERON and Bob so he had to bring his personal car today. It was an older Subaru model. It was dinged and scratched in places. The paint was peeling off the back hatch and it made whining sounds whenever he started it. Always was reliable though, hadn't coughed out on Priest yet so he kept it around. He slid inside the driver seat and turned the ignition. It whined like an old horse as it started and he grinned. Slamming the petal he took off at a speed through the streets that questionably legal. Patching through to the convoy outside the orphanage he started barking out orders. "Laura. We have a worst case scenario. Looks like fighting has broken out inside the orphanage. We need to get in there and fast but your people need to stay clear of any line of fire. Go around the wall to the front of the orphanage. We'll have to extract from there." Laura's too-sweet voice chimed back. "You got it hon! Get them to us and we'll take care of the rest." She started rearing the few vans around toward the front of the orphanage. The rear van lagged behind, awkwardly overloaded on its back wheels. Current and Future Consultation was marked ruggedly on the side. Finally Priest addressed his personal minion and the ally closest to that minion. "Alright looks like Blaque and the team could be in trouble-" Though on second thought Blaque never seemed like was in trouble, oh well, didn't hurt to exaggerate! "And he'll need you two to bring this under rein. NERON, Bob. It's time to gatecrash. The police will probably hate us for a while after this but to hell with them we're doing the hard work!" Bob spoke up in response, a sense of excitement hidden under that monotone voice of his. "Gatecrash? You mean- you mean I get to?" Priest put his face half-way against his palm and sighed. "Yes.. yes, Bob you get to smash the doors the in." He twitched, startled as Bob uncharacteristically bellowed in triumph on the other end. "NERON, you stay with the vans until I get there. Priest commanded. NERON was feeling a little restless as well, knowing full well that inside the warzone of a complex was Willard, nearly defenseless amidst the chaos. The AI spoke up in protest."I should be in there, Priest. Willard and the children may require medical aid." He reasoned. NERON was of course correct but he was generally easy to convince and right now Priest needed him with the convoy. "That won't do, Tinman. I need you with the convoy. If they hit these vans with no real powerhouse to defend them then we'll be out of options to take the children out of here. Unless you're volunteering to fly them one at a time?" The crafty smile ever creased his lips. "Hold out until I get there." NERON relented. "You have a point, Priest. I'll wait for now. If anything happens I am inside. No questions, no demands. I'm here to help, not play ornament." He laid his intentions bare. Always the transparent one, Neron. Priest shrugged. "Fair enough, Tinman. I won't hold you back at that point."

Bob

Gatecrash!
The van creaked in relief as a heavy object thumped to the concrete. The heavy object in question crunched its knuckles together and beamed at the gate and the door beyond to the orphanage's main hall. "Been too long since I got to do this!" Bob hunkered his head down and flexed his great shoulders. He took a few steps back to get some space before starting forward into a run, gradually gaining in momentum until he slammed into the gate. The locking mechanism exploded by the impact and the gate wrapped around itself as it parted around the massive golem. Originally meant for sliding back and forth part of the gate fell over while the other side of it, still caught in the railway, curled around to the fence. The bulky golem just kept running at full speed toward the front door. This time he got to break a door on purpose! Bob reached out and crashed against the frame of the double doors, shattering frame and hinges together and sending the doors banging around the hallway. The dust hung heavily in the entrance, obscuring vision of the golem to make him appear as a silhouette to the already panicked guards. The few left in the front of the building at any rate. Bob roared in victory and the two guards there opened fire with their side arms. Small caliber rounds pocked his surface. He grunted and moved toward the guards. One of them got the brighter idea and started running away down the hall. The other one stared in shock at the giant before Bob bitch slapped him to the floor. "Gatecrash complete." Bob reported. He used his foot to prod the unconscious guard on the floor. "I need to do this more often." "I would agree with you except it usually involves breaking some law or other. Authority figures don't appreciate true art." Priest responded, turning around another corner aggressively. With a tap on his ear-piece he swapped channels. "Blaque, this is Priest. I'm on the way in person. I started plan 'B' as I'm sure you may have heard just a minute ago. Bob is in to help clean house or at least provide a distraction. When I arrive NERON will evacuate Willard and the cooperative children. It seems that the Director may have had some on his side. Twins is what I overheard before Darric finished the job. Watch out."
[@King Tai][@FantasyChic][@Wick][@Vashonn][@RumikoOhara][@pugbutter][@alexfangtalon]
