She did not move when she heard the fluttering of wings, the rustle of feathers as she leaped from platform to platform. Whoever this was, she was in a defence. The movements and breathing enough to tell Nevermore that whoever was near her was around her age, maybe a little younger, maybe a little other, it was hard to tell. She was about to take a step back, creep closer to the over hang till she realized that the figure was approaching. Her head still facing the chaos below, she found a small smile creeping to her features at the words. "No need to try and wage fear, I am no fiend, I simply offer a hand to those who wish to take it." Aurora was bad at intimidation, but whoever this woman was, was indeed quite close to the same problem as herself. "Do you wish to help?" Faux was quick to alert her to Dullahan, flapping his feathers, the brilliant hues of reds and violets cascaded over the creature like a setting sun. The faintest cry brushing against her senses like a breeze. "Our friend found one? Tis good to hear." Her hand reached up to pet the beast, more to calm her own nerves than his as she began to whisper her words. The sounds carrying off in the awaiting wind to be greeted by her companion below. "Let thy gaze be known..." The dog was already walking to Jason, it's gaze looking right up to him as the creature sat as close to the male as he could. The words of it's master ringing in it's ears as a hum of their connection flown through it's body like a careful pluck of a string. It's eyes gaining a flash, only to wisp into nothingness before appearing again, erased only to be repainted. It was a small glimpse in the illusion, just enough to tell him that it's the work of someone else.
