"Tell me, are all of you pirates so lacsadaisical in your duties or are are you just a special case of incompetence." A biting voice spoke from one corner of their out-cropping, belonging the white haired woman that Sayuri currently found herself stuck with. With piercing grey eyes, she glared at the red headed pirate as if willing her to combust on the very spot. Marianne had made her displeasure with the situation highly well-known, and while she would've killed the blasted pirate if given the chance before the wreck, as she was currently, even her pride wasn't strong enough to refuse a hand in surviving this hell-hole. [i]Stranded in the underlands with nothing but savage beasts, a damn pirate for company, and a broken leg for company. Shifting slightly, the hunter hissed in pain, her leg protesting greatly to any attempts of hers to move it. "*Ugh*. . .So, pirate, what is your plan for today? More fruitless searches for food instead of getting out of this damn place as fast we can, I assume." Marianne let out another groan of pain, her scolding of the pirate seeming to have agitated her broken ribs. Gritting her teeth through the pain, Marianne reached down into the pack by herself, pulling out a single leaf from a hidden pocket stitched to the inside. The leaf bore an odd black coloration, but the veins that ran through it were alight with a crystalline blue glow, a sign of the magical aura that rna through it even after being long picked from the plant it was harvested from. Placing it on her tongue, Marianne reclined her head back as she slowly suckled on the leaf, allowing the magically-induced chemicals to dull her senses, letting out a soft sigh of relief as the familiar numbness seeped into her body.
