John noticed a white haired young guy (Arin) talking to a girl (Heather.) They seemed to just be making friendly chat.

Where the hell had he winded up? 

The real interesting part was he had a minor fear of them detecting him, he didn't know why, but as he began walking closer and then past them, he wasn't getting the hostile reaction he was partially anticipating. 

The young man's white hair triggered a brief memory of a massive wolf-man, one with white hair, chasing him through the empty streets of a run down city.

He continued walking, however, deciding to further explore this big building he found himself in.
