Griffin wasn't a fighter. His in experience showed. He was able to keep the birdman from hurting him. It was a draw. He wasn't gaining or losing ground. He didn't get a chance to look around. He had no idea how the others were doing. He couldn't afford to try to find out. He could only hope that they were doing alright. Luckily they couldn't be killed. Just hurt really really badly.
