Kijani laughed, face heated with embarrassment and happiness. "I'm glad... I don't think I've said that to anyone since I was a little girl." She gave him a light kiss. "I would worry that we're skipping class, but I may at least have a leg up on some of the other students. Besides, I know that whatever group I'm a part of, I'd like you in it." She still wasn't sure of what they would be doing, but she knew working with Connor would be her best choice.

"You can call me Kassy, that's fine." She was already wondering if Draco wasn't some kind of noble. He was very polite and had sort of a regal bearing about him. Did humans have nobles, though? Was Draco actually human? Both questions for later. "I can do illusion magic, among other things." She twisted her hand, and a little school of brightly colored fish shimmered in midair, weaving around Draco. "Not only sight. Sound as well, and touch. Scent and taste I'm working on..." She flashed him embarrassed little smile. "I don't think I have much in the way of battle training. I can use a knife, but everyone can do that where I come from. Unless you're a shark, I don't think I'll be too threatening yet."
