Once Fendros took Ahnasha's shoulders and received her kiss, his smile began to fade and he looked over his shoulder. "Actually, it wasn't ideal. Even though we managed to capture a few of the enemy men, the leader of the group killed herself before she could be captured. That and..." Fendros looked at Ahnasha and hissed in breath through his teeth. "A woman and a girl were hiding in the wagon during the ambush. They're claiming to just be the wagon drivers, paid and told nothing else, but...well, Kaleeth found them in her beast form. We haven't decided what to do with them yet."

Sabine stood up from the wagon, smiled, and gave a wave to Ahnasha.

Fendros let Ahnasha go and began to turn to the wagon. "Let's get everyone inside and you can tell me what you've found out."
