While one might think this is a mere illusion, it is quite more than that. He has the ability to switch places with the "clone" at any given moment. The more aura he spends, the more illusions he can make. Odell can also spend more aura to make the illusions actually deal damage, but this is extremely costly and doesn't do as much damage as a "real" attack. Heavy and cumbersome, it takes time and skill in order to master combat with the weapon. The axe is also able to house dust crystals, usually lightning or fire dust. The addition of dust crystals is to usually increase anti-armor capabilities, by either superheating or running an electric current through the blade. Bio: Drive the heathens back. Don't let the savage prey on the helpless. Protect the innocent. This was pure propaganda of course, but little Odell couldn't see past that at such a young age. The lure to join Atlas's army was too strong, despite his parents' disapproval. Their words of warning fell on deaf ears, and so at the age of 16 Odell enlisted. Sadly, Odell realized war was not as glorious as he was led to assume. Countless brothers lay dead, often for land they'd give back to the enemy the next day. Often they did not even see the enemy face to face, as the Faunus would pick one of them off and then slither away. But still Odell fought on, still beliving in the cause. Odell had lost too many friends to the Faunus, he wasn't going to lay down and die like a dog. Odell was soon promoted to captain, simply because most of his unit either quit or were dead. But with age came some somber inflection. Perhaps the fatigue had finally gotten to him. His conscience eats away at him, but Odell has merely ignored it. Whatever happened the the Faunus, they would have done to humans tenfold. Then everything changed. Suddenly the war was against the Faunus, but the Grimm. While Odell is willing to work with the Faunus, he finds that past transgressions are not so easily forgotten. Odell isn't... outright loud racist, but he still holds his reservations about the Faunus. Odell knows their help is needed, but that doesn't mean he has let go of the past. While Odell does not support the extermination of all Faunus, he believes in segregation.
