A warriors death is not as glorious as they say. You fight for way to they say is the right cause but that does not protect you from the charge of murder. You stand in a cold dark land remnant of an abyss. Forced tout bear your armor, your weapons, your regret for eternity. The weight is unbearable but it is also eternal. Aso you walk on forever, you see a green light. Such light has never been cast in this land. Several others have also been mesmerizedoing by it. You approach only to be met with a tall hooded figure bearing an all to memorable black scythe. "I'm glad to have caught your attention." The hooded figure says. "I can offer a walk of peace, a freedom from the burden that is the endless wight of your armor." The figure waves his hand revealing nothing more than the bone of his fingers. "The world is corrupted. Demons hide, polluting the minds of the world's leaders...but of course, demons are powerful. What would simple Knights and thieves and mages do?" The green flam flickers and splits. It coils around allowing you to feel warmth again. "You will be my spectres. The power of the dead flows through you. The stronger your resolve. The more power you can pull from this forsaken realm. Now go. I will explain more when you reach the mortal plain." The hooded figure turns to walk away. "Know this, complete this and succeed, and you will be granted a new life. A life free of the cold, free from the shackles of war. I will grant you peace...if the demons don't steal you."


So, in this rp, you were a warrior. Whether you were a knight, an assassin, or even a mage. You all died by the same cause, war. Brought to a land far below what was promised. You walked the wasteland of a hollow world forced to carry the burdens of your weapons and armor. However, death has come to you. Demons have begun to spread their corruption among the kings of the the world. You are one of the few who will return to the mortal world, but not as who you once we're, as a spectre. The hand of death. Where the wicked go, you follow. You must stop the demons that plague this land and free the people before the demons can corrupt them all.
