[@Blu] I know it wasn't one of the options I was thinking off but inevitably I ended up going with a scholarly character - I've always found it more natural to write as one than as a warrior of some kind.

My sheet is pretty much completed now.  I'll do some minor edits, tinkering around the edges and some general tidying up but the actual content is all there.
