When one needs to light a molotov, one doesn't simply ask where to find a light to ignite the cloth. 

You're much better off asking "where do I throw it to cause the most damage?"

Use the sparks from running Syphax's sword across the ground with the doused cloth to ignite. It'd be dumb but it would work, at least I think that's how science works.
