All I know is that I've been carted off to her place with no explanation and she's given me some magic pieces of wood. He wasn't even sure exactly what they did, but they seemed to be keeping him calmer than he otherwise would have been. Even though that was technically a good thing, he was still convinced that it was some kind of bribe or something.

I'm not saying I'd be surprised if I was, I'm just a bit suspicious of how much you lot already know about me, that's all."[/color] He fell silent, watching the people in the room out of the corners of his eyes. None of them had given him a good explanation for what was happening. Even if what they said was true, that they just wanted to give him a place to stay out of the goodness of their hearts, that was a bit creepy to say the least. And misguided. Besides, he was still waiting on an explanation from Callie herself. It seemed that she'd organized this; at least that was how everyone else was making it sound.
