Just came up with Ellis' three-step universal mission objective. I think he and Rykarn will have this in common. This objective will be the same in Ellis' mind no matter what the actual mission objective is: 
Step One: Break Enemy Line
Step Two: Break Enemy Morale
Step Three: Break Enemy Personel
Repeat for victory
