"I have 8,000....How did you get so many? You must be an amazing duelist to come out of a battle with more life points than last time" Lua spoke modestly, his head down slightly. He was so worried that he would do bad. Much of his desire to duel was to see a first real victory, not against his mother but to someone he did not know. Despite this, he felt that any battle would be fun enough to be worth losing. Still, he smiled and looked up to the beast, smiling happily. He noticed the change in the boy, and pondered over it. Surely the shy attitude was not a coverup of something else. He was probably just as excited to duel as Lua was, but was less skilled in remaining humble and casual while with it. He spoke in a soft voice, looking to Rumi as he had no power over her and assumed she would have a say. She didn't seem like someone who would like to have her choices directed by her. As such Lua would await her response but would add his own input. "Well, I'd still be willing to battle, but, I don't know if I'd be able to do very well but we can find out. I have a few strong cards that might win me the battle yet"
