~Livia~
Livia sighed. This was proving to be quite annoying. She wasn't getting a day off at all at this rate, was she? Bah, well, at least she could possibly use this little event to her advantage. Perhaps it was time to give Fia a bit of a lesson in pyromancy. If she was afraid of a little bit of water then she was never going to get anywhere. "Fia, dear, you can stand there all day if you want but we're not leaving until we talk about this." Livia said. "I can hazard an educated guess as to why you're like this, but you shouldn't let such things control you. You are you, after all, and no one else has any right to ever tell you how to act if it is something unreasonable or irrational such as this little fear of water you seem to have." The headmistress raised a hand out of the cool water for a moment, showing an open palm to Fia. Suddenly a small, blue flame lighted in her open palm. It wasn't normal fire to be sure, but it would hopefully get the point across. "Do you know what this is, Fia?" Livia said. The small orb of blue flame quivered in her hand, giving off a faint heat. "Fire. Not of the normal sort mind you, but I think fire is something you are intimately familiar with, no?" She chuckled, holding the blue orb of fire in front of her, letting Fia take a good look at it. "Do you know what fire is? Many would assume it is wanton destruction and wrath. Silly, really. When a fire spreads through a forest, it is simply clearing away the old to make way for the new. Its a warm fire, protecting one from the harshness of winter. A warm, inviting companion to someone lost in darkness." She went silent for a moment, letting Fia process her words. "Fire, can be a very powerful thing if used correctly and with caution. It can defend your friends and family, and strike down those fools who dare to trample over the weak - and help you face whatever it is you are afraid of." The orb of blue flame extinguished itself. "Some people happen to be proficient in some form of magic or another. And you, little Fia, happen to be skilled in Pyromancy I believe. Now, sit at the edge of the water and focus on it. Feel your soul, if you will. A tiny little flame, and gently make it flare. Control it and if you dislike the cold water so much, make it warmer. Whether you believe me or not is irrelevant. We're staying here until you do it."
~Cynthia~
The most unorthodox thing she had ever done with the headmistress? Oh dear sweet god so many things. Cynthia was so focused on trying not to appear too flustered, she ended up doing the opposite. Her face turned an intense shade of red and her hands that had been gently working on giving Mugi the most pleasant massage of her life suddenly slipped, accidentally, and rather painfully jabbing the Yuki-Onna in the back. "...Many things. The headmistress is a woman with very...eccentric tastes." She was not going into specific detail at all, nope. Not in a million years.
~Miren~
"O-oh, uhm..." Her ears perked up in slight surprise. Oh dear, how exactly should she say this? She didn't expect the mutt to ask such a thing. She didn't think she'd be interested in the story of a little bunny like herself. Well, there was no harm in telling her would be murderer, would there? Wasn't like she had much of a choice in the matter. She didn't want to anger the beastie and have her life span shorten more than it already was. "Uhm, w-well...I used to be human." Miren replied with a small sigh. "A while ago, when I was around fifteen I was...erm, well, kidnapped. Some crazy mage was trying to create human animal hybrids. Chimeras, I think they were called. I don't really want to go into detail, b-but, trying to shove an animal soul into a human body doesn't go well. Horrible bunny nibbling monstrosities, yep." Despite her obvious discomfort when speaking about it, she didn't appear too traumatized by the events. "I...was the only successful one. I don't...really know much about what happened, but when I was made I gained the ability to track certain...signals of magic if you will. I can track a person by their magic signature. Whoever did that to Swen, is the same person who did this to me. The place where it happened absolutely reeked of their magic and so does he. Thankfully the kind Headmistress managed to put a stop to him before anything happened and his research was destroyed and she took me in, but...I've been looking for her for awhile now. If she's around here..." By the time Miren had finished with her little story, the food for the pair had been brought and delivered. Miren shook her head, giving herself a small pat on the cheeks before eating. At least she seemed a bit more comfortable around Eith now. "Ehe, s-sorry. That was a rather, erm, depressing story wasn't it?"
