[@Crossfire] Maxi looked rather excited at the news of the lab. Having a full on workspace, even though he would have to share it, was a luxury he didn’t expect. He was almost bouncing on his heels, ready to go check out the lab the second his other gun was given a replacement. He paid a little bit of attention to his analysis of his ballistic, and managed to focus himself again when he was presented with the guns that could act as a replacement. He picked up each of them one at a time, Looking them over and holding them as if he would use them. The alliance gun was by far a definite no; it didn’t feel natural, and it looked far too complex for him to handle. The other two, ones that Grayson said were his own, both seemed easy to hold. He mentally weighed the pros and cons- the semi was a bit weaker but had less of a hassle for reloading, and the revolver could pack a punch but had horrid reloading. Both seemed simple enough for him to learn the specifics of use in the battlefield. After roughly half a minute of looking between the two guns and trying to figure out which would work best for him, he settled on the semi automatic. He placed the semi on the table and handed the pistol back to Grayson. “I think the semi’ll work better for me. Pretty sure I can use it without an issue”. He preferred not having to sit and reload a gun like a sitting duck, especially since he hadn’t practiced it and he’d be busy helping anyone who got hurt. Though if it didn’t work well for him, there was no shame in coming back and asking for a refit. Better nervous than dead. He straightened up a little when Grayson gave his warning. “Of course, of course! I’ve no intent to get them damaged. I know how much it sucks to have something in a collection get messed up.” he offered a half smile of reassurance before directing his gaze back to the ballistic he had chosen. “You said you needed to polish that up, right? D’you know when that’ll be done?” he asked, before adding on. “Thanks for lending me these, by the by.”.
