Witnessing the scene, a gray haired individual in the crowd walked into an alleyway. There he pulled out his phone and called an unlisted number. "My lord," the grey man said, "It seems the crow has come out of hiding, and the fox has started to change his targets..." On the other side of the phone, the Count sat in quiet contemplation for what seemed like an eternity. Finally he spoke, in a deathly tone which was surprising given the youth of the voice. "We shall have to move up the ceremony of ascension. Tell the others to prepare the sacrifices and the chosen." The grey man gulped audibly, "Of course my lord, as you wish."
