[@Damiann47] As Torack said, I'm waiting on them. My character has a lot of weaknesses and only a few sure things, and Torack accidentally misread one of my things, making it impossible for me to react. It's no one's fault, but I can't respond until the issue is fixed. So please don't get mad at me.

In these battles, be sure to read each other's traits thoroughly, to understand the character's abilities and limitations alike, so misunderstandings like this don't happen.

The issue here is that when my character sinks into the shadows, she is invisible to all the senses, unless someone has been trained as she has in becoming one with the darkness (or if they're just accustomed to the dark), and that she remains so until her first attack lands from her position. Additionally, if she's in a shadow, and someone tries to land a hit, she'll just teleport to another shadow, or otherwise become ethereal.
