Magic, the power to  influence the course of events by using mysterious or supernatural forces. By definition this is what magic is. Most have believed this to be nothing more than myth written in religious text in the form of individuals walking on water or Deities capable of holding and releasing bolts of lightning from their grasp. It has also been seen in history books as entertainment made by males and females alike involving everything from sawing an individual in half to disappearing acts...Illusions and nothing more. However, the belief that magic was an existing element of life was thought of to be preposterous and ludicrous if one was to ask...Or was it?  It is argued that magic has always been around but has laid dormant for a long time, yet there were theories that many famous inventors and physicists had managed to tap into this magic after research and study, with one of the most notable being Nikolai Tesla. Fast forward to the beginnings of the second world war where the blame of Germany’s loss in the first world war was put upon lesser species’ bloodlines including hybrid ‘mutts’ and lead the nazi leader to proclaim that they were “an insult to nature and order with their very existence.” Over the course of the war millions upon millions of subspecies and hybrids would be systematically killed by the war machine. Now within the regime there was a group known as Drittes Auge, or the Third Eye, a subsection to Germany’s physics research and development program that dabbled in magic and the occult. Here, scientists and doctors experimented on test subjects acquired by Gestapo agents in order to validate anything discovered in the relation to magic’s existence. They had created a device that was meant to measure the density of their magical aura, which in turn determined what bloodlines were the most powerful. It worked similar to a geiger counter but with results that varied. It would seem even those whose bloodlines were pure could show results that were negative and hybrids with positive results and vise versa. Either way, those deemed “weak” were removed from their society and placed in camps. The Occult based program had eventually stumbled upon an old relic deep in the jungles, pictures of what seemed to be depicting gods of different species and elements carved into into the bell shaped object. Unseen by the naked eye, this relics glowed ever so dimly when reviewed through video. Scientists soon began to experiment with them, coming to the conclusion that with other information they had gathered, specifically information pertaining to runes and rituals, these objects seemed to react, letting of light hums of vibration and glowing hieroglyphs from the engravings. They had tried multiple times and it would seem that the only response they would receive is the normal hum. So focus on the relics were put on hiatus and instead focus was brought back to their original plans, Die Glocke. Dubbed “the Bell” by the special division, its purpose was classified to all those outside of the group but from within, it was the supposed time machine that was being built in the hopes of...time travel. Construction and testing originally started off with results similar to those of the relic however one scientist had taken notice that when the tests on the Die Glocke were being performed, The relic would emit more of an “Ohm” sound as it would spark. So, one of the scientist decided to bring the relic into the same facility that Die Glocke was in, in the hopes that there would be a better reaction than before. The next test on Die Glocke would mark the beginning of a new era with its own destruction. As testing began, there had been a fluctuation within the levels given off by the energy The Bell released. Within two minutes, a massive spike of energy shot through the bell, causing it to release a blast of static energy that engulfed the room and the relic, resulting in what is now known as “The Awakening”. As the relic was hit with the blast, it absorbed some of that energy, sending a vibration into an unknown plane of existence. This vibration awoken the Deities that people now know of and worship. With this day, focus was primarily put into the relic and its newly discovered secrets. The year is 1947 and the second World War is over but the damage done to the people of Europe was ultimately burned into the minds of its people. Alongside the damage, countries around the world have taken Nazis occultism and turned it into something more useful and practical with much of the gathered documentation from german research departments guiding their paths. There had seemed to be some truths behind what the German research department had found relating to these deities and Die Glocke as many researchers managed to make pacts of their own and in turn passed down the information to the rest of their people who had then begun making their own packs. It is unknown as to what will become of this new world, but one thing is for certain. There will be change, and it will be permanent. It’s just whether or not that change will be for the better or worse.
So this RP will take place in an anthropomorphic world during a new magical era in the late 40s. Some of you may be asking why is this furry based at all. Well the answer is simple, this was inspired by another RP we were in that it was also an anthropomorphic story. Difference was however it took place in a post-apocalyptic world and sadly it died. We didn't want to abandon the story that was created and we didn't want to lose our characters on because of the commitment we put into it soooo...We decided to make one of our own. It took a lot of time to make and we are quite happy with the results. Before we continue we do have a few rules.
1. Follow the RPG rules and Code of Conduct 2. The GMs have final say...plain and simple. 3. We expect a minimum of 2 paragraph posts, nothing less but more is great. However, please be aware we want you to make sure that you understand quality is better than quantity. We would rather see two solid paragraphs that are coherent and concise than 4 paragraphs of filler nonsense. 4. Sacrafices will need GM approval (either Zverda or Hawlin) 5. Questions regarding weaponry can be answered by our weapons expert Foster. 6. We welcome combat, but attacks that hit should be approved by the opposing player. Any discrepancies between opponents will be brought to the GMs' attention so we can determine if the attack hits or settle any issues that arise. 7. Vulgar language and sexual scenes should be kept on a pg-13 level. Anything else considered MA is to be brought into private messages. Though we are more lenient on language. 8. We reserve the right to add, modify or remove the rules as we see fit so please be aware if something is a rule now, may not be in the future. 9. You may NOT move any character into the Character tab unless it has been approved. If this happens you will be asked to remove that Character until it is approved. 10. We will give you three chances on character creation. Simple things like grammar, punctuation and spelling WILL effect your approval. These three things are simple yet important. 11. Finally, we expect some dedication to this RP as we have had in creating it. Please be aware that holding up characters due to absences slow the progress of an rp to a crawl or worse. So we ask that you DO NOT sign up if you cannot fit this RP into your daily schedule. We understand irl is irl and should anything come up inform one of the four of us. Failure to do so will result in your terminal action from this RP and character death which we hold the right to. After you have read the rules please be sure to add into your CS your favorite animal. Once approved, we will pm you our discord chat so you may be in closer contact to us and your fellow roleplayers. Thank you kindly. In order to create this pact (contract), they must give up something that the deity requires of them, be it a physical aspect, emotional or something irreplaceable that holds great meaning to the one wanting the increase of power. It will never be returned no matter how much that individual realizes it was nothing like what they asked for, just because the gods grant someone access to their power it doesn't mean that the cost will present itself in the way the receiver will like. Point being? Be careful what you wish for.
Temporary: Small sacrifices that have some personal value but are easily replaced can be given as a sacrifice/offering to any god for a temporary expansion of one's mana well(i.e. photo of a loved one). However, the extra mana granted to the individual will be used up before the individual’s personal store.

MANA CANNOT BE STORED FOR USE AT A LATER DATE
Side Note: Loss of Either Arm requires the individual to utilize Runes/Casting Circles for spells
Mana Well: Be you carnivore or herbivore, every being on this earth has what is known as a Mana Well, a being's personal store of mana that can be tapped into to cast spells. Some are able to tap into their well easier than others, allowing them to pull on a larger amount of their reserves far easier than those who have a harder time tapping into their reserves. Your mana well is tied to your life source, if you use up your mana to cast a spell the remaining mana required is taken from your very life, often leading to the death of the spellcaster. Casting puts a strain on the body, the more complex the spell, the larger the strain. Arcane (raw magic) tends to cost less as it is, The Mana Well replenishes over a period of rest, 6 hours if preferable for a full restore, naturally anything less than that gives you a smaller percent (For every shorter hour you go down about 16%) Supplements and Caffeine would fend off the physical exhaustion that would come from the Mana depletions however, the crash is far worse than it would be if it was only taken because someone using it for its intended purpose… which is not staving off magical exhaustion. Runes make up the language of power that the gods use to cast their influence across the prime material plane. With the awakening of magic (or reawakening as many speculate based on little evidence), many gave arms and legs for a taste of the deities' power. It took scribes and a discerning eye to conclude similarities between many of these runic languages. What started as a method of cataloguing comparisons and classifying 'domains' became an art respected by those who would rather put their faith in the self than in otherworldly forces. Otherworldly forces that could be arguably be perceived as objectively evil for the steep prices that the 'clerics' pay for their power. While clerics shout of heresy and theft, scholars return with accusations of flagellation and making deals with demons. Regardless, the exploration of the power held within the soul (unfortunately unearthed by the Nazis) has turned research into mankind's own power. Though less potent and deep as those who sacrificed dear aspects, the bridge of the runic arcane language has granted the fluent with a diverse array of powers at their fingertips...simply by knowing a single language of even one of the schools.

Conjuration Contrary to the implication of the name, Conjuration involves the evocation of emotion into a physical force. A caster ‘conjures’ elemental force in a process that is more felt than thought. Due to the domains that the runic language is linked to, this is often called “destruction” magic as it governs the spell categories of Fire, Lightning and Telekinesis. Because of its ease of understanding and straight-forward purpose, Conjuration is a favorite of novice mages. This is not to say that creativity could take this school of spellcraft in interesting directions, but that many who verse themselves in the runic language of conjuration lack the creativity to unravel its intricacies.
Alteration Passive in nature, Alteration involves bending and mending the physical world. Alteration is a logic-based school that revolves around the understanding of matter and how its runic languages explains the physical realm. Light, Wind and Earth fall into this category for their properties of shifting reality. Healing spells, construction and buffs are dominated by this school. The logical complexities and lack of straight-forward utilization makes this school a bit of a turnoff for those not seeking its power as a support rather than a focus that Conjuration would otherwise provide. However, this does not mean that the raw power of elements cannot be used for more aggressive and destructive purposes, just that a ball of fire, a bolt of lightning, or throwing something with your mind is better at providing immediate results.
Abject Convolution surrounds the dark domain of ‘Abject Actualizationalism’. Like Conjuration, the school delves into a focus of emotion, though on a conceptual level that requires an understanding of a psychological need and will to control such intangible forces. While it could be argued that ‘The Abject’ is difficult to control, especially if one thinks more than feels (lacking the passion that Conjuration enthusiasts call ‘art’) or feels more than thinks (a naivete for understanding that Alteration proficients refer to as ‘tact’), those who are drawn in are cut from a fine but differing cloth. True, an empathetic individual versed in complex thought, closer to ‘self-actualization’ has a leg up in this field...though this school unfortunately earned a taboo connection with evil that could only be offered by sociopaths and other mentally/emotionally unstable degenerates whose twisted perception of reality grants them disgusting affinity in the ‘dark arts’. A numbness to emotion’s pull leaves them with a control that is almost calculatingly unfeeling; as such power is wielded on the hinge of sociological disability, the power is rarely used for good...or at least for very long. ‘The Abject’ governs the elemental schools of Water, Necromancy and Darkness.
