Nincada ran forward, expecting a single shot and it would be done. The hit struck it's target, and barely did anything. Nincada was surprised, as well as Martin when his Pokeball was rejected by a Vine Whip. Well then, this was going to actually be a fight. Nincada was hit with a growl, trying to scare the Bug Type. Vine Whip was going to be next to hit him.

Nincada gave another nod, and tried to jump back. He was focusing on getting out of the way and using Harden. Martin was trying to watch the Pokeball that flew away. He might be able to get that later, but he still had a few more he could use. Focus on the fight, this won't be some simple battle. There was spirit in Bulbasaur's eyes. It was a fighter, and he wanted this one now. Martin pointed at Bublasaur, he wanted to make sure his point was clear.
