Crusader Recruit Kupori
Reacting to Gale with a giggle of amusement, Kupori couldn't help but find him to be a funny guy. Though, there were bigger things for them to worry about right now. Specifically that dream. She wasn't used to seeing people at her height; It was a lot better on the neck to not have to look up at his face. Which still looked pretty confused, if not a bit dazed from her strike. But he was clearly not panicking anymore; And that made Kupori a lot more comfortable talking to him. "Yeah, the keyblades!" Kupori replied loudly, excitement in her voice. "They were so awesome-- But I think we should probably, maybe, think about the other stuff, too." She admitted, looking upwards past his face, at the sky. "Like... What's that Empire anyways? And why did that weird guy call it 'Unnatural'?" She questioned, pausing momentarily, as she slowly turned, eying the sky. "And what the heck is up with the sky--" "!!!" Kupori gasped at the sight above the Pine Barrens; A minor grunt or two escaping her as she attempted to speak, but failed horribly. She felt something wash over her; Something that had felt so intense in her heart that it caused her to step back and lightly bump into the white-haired boy's legs. Her heart was racing; Not out of fear, but... Something else. Something had just happened to her heart; Like some sort of switch... She felt fear from the darkness; Not knowing of what it'd bring, but deep within she knew it wasn't good. Then that black bolt found it's way into the Pine Barrens, from those dark, lightless clouds. "What-- What this this...?" She questioned, eyes expressing her uncertainty. Beyond her thoughts, however, her eyes focused downwards; She didn't truly register Faira, but instead, registered Gatta running off towards the Pine Barrens. "Gatta!" She shouted, stepping forward away from Gale's legs. "What are you doing?! That's--" "Master Luzzu could be in trouble!" Gatta shouted back, not slowing down. He had brushed past Pink and was making his way towards the Pine Barrens as quickly as he could; And it was clear he had no intentions of slowing down. It wasn't long before he was out of sight due to a small shop he turned behind in order to try and get there as fast as possible. "Father?" Kupori spoke, more quiet than usual, mostly to herself, in fact. Only Gale had been close enough to hear her. Considering how much trouble this bolt appeared to be; And how the area around it darkened as if it was midnight, she knew her father would be there attempting to confront this threat. It was in his blood to do so; And it was that very blood that allowed him to teach her to do the same. Determined expression on her face, she bolted off; Her little legs carrying her quickly past the others, who, in this situation, she was ready to defend. Though she had an issue with Faira and Pink, she didn't want either of them badly hurt, or worse. She'd fight off whatever was ahead to the best of her abilities in order to protect them and the rest of the town. But, she also charged forward for her own reasons. Gatta went ahead of her recklessly; And her father was probably on his way there, as well. She didn't have time to grab her actual sword; But she'd fight anyways: She'd find something once she got to the battle, or if she had to, she'd fight them with the wooden sword she currently unsheathed to wield. "D-Don't worry, Father! I won't leave you and Gatta to fight alone!" As Kupori ran through the streets towards the Pine Barrens, she was taken by surprise: Odd puddle-like shadows on the ground, traveling in her direction. She paused, mouth agape as a reaction as she backed up slightly, gripping her sword firmly. Slowly, the small shadowy puddles began to rise, and take form; Into shadowy creatures almost her size. "Wh-What are those...?!" She questioned, eyes widening in shock. She'd never seen such creatures in her life; They were, by all means, terrifying for the small Moogle. Their heads twitched, pure, bright yellow eyes seemingly focused on Kupori, who was honestly terrified inside. But she wouldn't back down; These creatures threatened her family; Her home! She wasn't going to allow them to harm anybody, especially not her Father! As one of the shadows lunged forward, brandishing a hand that almost appeared to be claw-like in it's pure black appearance, Kupori hopped to her left to dodge it; Before gripping her sword with both hands and taking her own lunge at the creature with a loud cry; Only for the shadow to sink back into the ground before she landed, causing her to instead hit the hard ground, her sword breaking due to the harsh impact of Kupori's full-powered swing. Standing up, Kupori nervously looked around: The shadows had sunken back into the ground and circled her; And as they emerged, they all stared in her direction, seeming ready to strike. In all, there were currently five of these shadows. And though Kupori lacked a weapon, she held what was left of her sword with bravery unseen in many people; And prepared to stand her ground, despite the hopelessness of her fighting them off without a weapon being apparent. 'I won't let them hurt anyone!' She thought, teeth clenched as the shadows began to shamble and slowly close in for what appeared to be an easy heart to take.
