Very interesting, I may end up making a character for this Monday, although weekends are generally a bad time for me to get on and post so if that is too much of a problem I will just lurk. Couple questions and thoughts that occurred to me though. 

First of all it seems that the 'Gods' demand a sacrifice of the very things they value most therefore weakening the 'Priest' in the very element they wish to gain power in. I'm assuming that's because that's the very thing that feeds the 'Gods' own power?

Also, how do magic items work? Or do they not yet exist?

Is it possible to study multiple schools of magic or make more then one great sacrifice?

Are the answers to these questions just aspects that have yet to be discovered?
