Just as the mage's gratitude did. I have what look? Is it THAT obvious? Or... You're not a mind reader, are you? he thought as his piercing blue eyes narrowed slightly at Landvarian, his arms automatically crossing across his chest in a wary posture. He was sure that he kept his face devoid of anything that would give a clue to what he was thinking. And so it was logical that the mage held some sort of psychic abilities if he was able to tell what it was in his head. When the mage didn't answer and merely asked to talk and walk together, he almost sighed in relief. It wouldn't be good for anyone to know what he was thinking. He also didn't appreciate it. His thoughts were his alone. But the white cat was right. He was curious about what he was capable of. And since he was offering to talk, he was probably willing to tell him. He posture relaxed a bit and he pushed away from the wall. He gave Landvarian a curt nod. "Yes, let's walk together," he agreed. "You're right, by the way. I would appreciate it if you told me about your capabilities. It would help me to keep you safe," he figured that asking straight out was the best thing to do at this point. And then as if he read his companion's mind, he added. "In return, ask from me anything you want. If I am capable of granting it, I will."
