The journey out of the dungeon was nothing compared to the trek through the hot sandy desert. Although the hike to the spring wasn't long or difficult, it felt like an eternity in Piper's mind. [color=FF69B4][i]I don't remember the heat being this awful... Maybe it's just because I haven't been eating that much... Ugh... I'm usually never this tired...[/i][/color] She thought to herself as she trotted along and did her best to keep up with the Delphox. 

Spotting the outpost in the distance made her face light up with joy. She broke into a sprint and left Alodi behind, claiming a spot before the refreshing spring. Eagerly lowering her head, she thirstily lapped up the water, enjoying the cool taste on her tongue. After five minutes, she lifted her head up and sighed happily. [color=FF69B4][i]Oh, that was some of the most delicious water I've ever tasted...[/i][/color] Smiling brightly, she turned to look up at Alodi, her tail wagging with newfound energy. 

[color=FF69B4]"Ooo! I'd love some food! Do you think they'll have Sitrus berries there? Oh oh oh! Maybe they'll have those little tiny things that come in all sorts of different colors? I like the white ones the best! And I'm holding up just fine, in fact, I'm doing great actually! Anyway, let's go go go!"[/color] Despite her exhausted state earlier, she was back to her normal self in an instant, promise of food fueling her body.
