Name: Alex Kinney Alias: Raptor Age: 20
Photographic Reflexes = Alex has the ability of Photographic Reflexes. He wasn't born with this ability, but due to his healing factor Breytech tried implanting DNA in him. Among that DNA was Taskmaster's and it actually worked to give him the power. Alex now can copy any physical action that his body could naturally do. However, due to not naturally being born with this ability Alex can 'forget' how to do the move if he doesn't work to ingrain it into his muscle memory. Superhuman Longevity = Just like most with a healing factor Alex also has a superhuman level of longevity. This causes him to, just like Wolverine and X-23, age slower during his young adult years and further on. Regenerative Healing Factor = Alex has a very strong healing factor due to having DNA of Wolverine and X-23. When Breytech did tests on him they did something to increase the power at which Alex's body and mind can recover. It has not been attempted, but before escaping Alex overheard that some Breytech scientist believed that Alex had a better healing factor than Wolverine. Animalistic Instincts = Similar to Wolverine and X-23, Alex has heightened senses in the form of various animals. He has faster reflexes, stronger sense of smell, better eyesight, and an innate sense of incoming danger. Alex has yet to train these senses to their peak potential so as of right now they feel more of a nuisance until he fully understands what he is sensing. Hyper Speed = The only ability that Alex can call his own is his speed. Not quite the levels of those such as Quicksilver, but still faster than the average human if only a few MPH's higher. It was estimated that if he trained his speed that Alex could quite possibly reach Mach 1, but so far Alex has maxed out at 48 MPH. A side note is that Alex is fairly intelligent. This is primarily because Breytech drilled various lessons into the boy's mind. He learned a lot and retained nearly all of it.
Weaknesses: He doesn't stand a chance against magic users. (Trust me on this one) His mind is somewhat broken causing him to, at times react very slowly. Especially under heavy pressure or stress. Doesn't work well with or not at all with people he doesn't trust, know, or like. Usually fights without a plan unless on the hunt for a specific person. Personality: Untrusting: Alex has a hard time trusting people. It is extremely hard to gain his trust yet it is very easy to lose it. Loyal: If one good thing was said about Alex it is he is loyal to a fault. He will stand by his allies no matter what. The only way to lose his loyalty is to harm him or someone else close to him. Direct: Alex is not my any means of the term rude. He is just cold. He is blunt and straightforward. He rarely lets bias affect his decisions. The only time they do are in regards to people he dislikes. Experience: About a year and two months. Appearance: His costume is currently just a hoodie that he wears. Bio: At a young age Alex's life began fairly normal. His father died when he was young so he only knew of his mother, Laura, as his family. He was very close to every other kid at the Xavier Institute seeing many of them as family. When he was around seven his powers started to rise to the surface and he quickly began training. He was very good, but often slacked off whenever the X-Men left for a mission. Within the next few years Alex began to hate being in the mansion all the time. He got extremely bored and just felt as if he was trapped. One day, when the X-Men were out on a mission, he and a few of the other teens ran off to have an adventure. They had planned a trip that would last a few months. Who could have guessed it would be much longer than that before they would make it home. Breytech, a corporation that more recently started up, which unbeknownst to many kidnap, experiment, and use young mutants for their benefit finds this group of mutants and captures them. At this point they began experimenting on Alex by implanting DNA in him and altering the already preexisting DNA. They taught him various things and began attempting to brainwash him. This was very difficult due to the boys healing factor. The brainwashing was only partially successful. Most of what they had him do was assassinate the various enemies of the company. Years later a mutant that they captured succeeded in tricking the company into thinking they had brainwashed him. This mutant had organized an escape plan getting a few of the mutants out in the process. Alex was one of the ones to escape. Now Alex roams the streets of New York searching for any employees of Breytech and usually kills them. He occasionally fights against crime. It is more of whenever he feels like it. Key Differences: Very brutal. Sorta like if Wolverine had the mindset of the Punisher. He doesn't care if he kills a bad guy. He does refuse to let an innocent be harmed in any way because of him. Sample Story Arcs: Prodigal Son - Gets found by the X-Men and brought/forced to come back. Maybe eventually leaves to join a new incarnation of the Brotherhood of Mutants. Day of Reckoning - Breytech finds where Alex and the other escapees have gone and uses nearly all assets to capture or kill them. The Power of a Movement - Many vigilantes across the city come together to protect the city from crime.(Pretty much just how in the Arrowverse a bunch of Vigilantes start coming out of the woodworks) Supporting Characters: The Good - X-Men, Various vigilantes/heroes in New York, The other escapees from Breytech. The Bad - Breytech, Brotherhood of Mutants, J. Jonah Jameson the Fourth. Other: Has an overbearing desire for revenge against Breytech. He has a weapon that is a collapsible kendo stick. Collects various weapons from those he fights.
