Collab [@FantasyChic][@Vashonn]
With a glare upon her face, scanning the room while leaning on her closed umbrella, Ginger gave a sigh while the four toy soldiers who were accompanying her, waited for her orders. Misty looked to the lady she thought of as her master, backing away a little. The other children looked over to the confrontation unable to attempt leaving with this woman standing in the way of the entrance along with her weaponized kids. To think...the twins are being handled, We are being infiltrated, and you two must've been the ones that bested Weber. Once Caretaker handles his business, I'm pretty sure he will want you two alive for torture. Now, we can do this the easy way or the hard way... adjusting her glasses wondering how she should go about taking care of both Willard and R0se. R0se put a protective hand on Willard's shoulder while also making sure she was in the way of the woman and the children. "Nice cliche, Mary Poppins. If you think I'm letting you do to these children what you have already done to the ones next to you, you're even more messed up than I thought." She scanned the room quickly, wondering if she should stay and fight or if they should flee. She didn't know if this woman would put up much, but considering the circumstances she had to assume the woman was deadly. "Don't these children deserve happiness? Freedom? A loving home of their own? Look what you've turned them into. Mindless drones to do your bidding. No, I will be taking them and making sure they are provided a home of their own where they can grow up and be appreciated for their talents, instead of used." She looked over to Willard, "Not sure what you want to do, but I will handle her if you want to get these kids to safety. The others should be fine." Willard did his best to assess the situation, noting the bizarre, cascading arrays of colors that seemed to eminate from the manipulated children behind Madame Ginger, a strange mixture of anger, pain, and fear, covered in a blank numbness. The children with their twisted forms took Willard aback and he wondered just what made them into the things they were, though R0se's words had been able to snap him into focus. "W-- where's another way out?" he asked, the map he had studied before failing him in the time of need. Taking a step back, Willard looked to Misty, hoping she could lead the way. On the contrary for the fact that Ginger did indeed look like Mary Poppins, she hated that movie. That comment made her pop a vein a little, gripping the handle of her umbrella. What the hell do you know? We are giving them happiness. We are giving them a new purpose. I didn't turn them into this. These kids were already broken and we fixed them to be of better use....oh, we don't need to explain ourselves to you. You're on our property trying to take MY babies. We will show you exactly why they are happy and of better use. Ginger looked to the toy soldiers Kiddies, Mother Ginger needs your assistance. They want to take you from me and bring harm to me. Stop them...help your mother defend the home and family. she said as the toy soldiers screeched. 2 of them charged forwards to the two. It was times like this she wished she had her gear with her, but she didn't know where Darric stashed them. She didn't want to hurt the kids. Her thoughts raced around. How could she stop her without bringing harm to the kids? She looked at Misty and had an idea, "Misty, I know this is scary, but I need your help. I want to help you. I think your gift is wonderful and useful. I know people who would make sure you were cared for and appreciated and you can still be a kid. I can't do this alone. Can you help Willard take over her mind control of the kids? I don't want to hurt them." She returned her gaze back on the oncoming kid soldiers as she dodged an attack from one, waiting for a response. It was the only thing she could think of that didn't result in injuried kids. Misty was usually never allowed to speak to the toy soldiers mentally for the fact that Ginger and the others felt she would try to get to their minds and break the control the adults had on them. Yes, all she could do was communicate mentally but that could be enough to snap the children out of their brainwashing. Seeing the near desperate look on R0se's face and also the situation, this could turn ugly quick if they didn't gain some sort of control without the children getting hurt. Averting her eyes out of worry and looking towards Willard and looking back at Ginger along with the two toy soldiers who attacked, Ginger thought about what Willard and R0se mentioned earlier about getting them out of that nightmare and helping them have a better life outside the orphanage. With all of these thoughts and finally coming to the conclusion that this could be the only hope she has on getting out and seeing her mama and papa again, her face became serious as she spoke mentally "I will help...I will try and speak to them mentally..." she said and looked at Willard giving a nod to him to show she was ready to work with him in stopping this. Willard quickly fixed his attention on the toy soldier closest to him, stepping back again as it swung its arm toward him. The little training Blaque had taught the boy was finally coming into play, as he was able to easily dodge the uncoordinated attack from the other child, though he still couldn't throw much of a punch. Oh yeah! I don't need to punch 'em! As he blinked, Willard's green eyes began to glow brighter, a calm expression fixed upon his face. Reaching his arm out toward the other child, Willard was able to just touch the tips of his fingers to the child's skin before he had to duck from another swing - but that was all he needed. In that brief moment, the toy soldier felt a rush of cool air come over it as a wave of euphoria filled its mind, forcing the hatred and fear from the child inside. As his eyes dimmed slightly, Willard glanced back toward Misty, then to R0se. "Go get the crazy lady, Rose! Misty n' me got the other kids!" the boy spoke with bold confidence. Misty gave a smirk standing side by side with Willard with the intention to oppose Ginger's influence. With one of the kids calmed, Misty went forth to speak mentally to the other toy soldier, focusing and basically yelling mentally as it brought its attention to Misty and rushed her before stopping shortly from making contact, holding it's head. With it backing away and not wanting to attack, Ginger grit her teeth. Dammit! you two...take those two out for opposing us...I'll handle the ugly duckling! She said to the other two toy soldiers. Ginger readied her umbrella while the two remaining toy soldiers went for the attack. As the other two soldiers came at her, she thought quickly. She REALLY needed her staff. She didn't want to harm them, but she needed to get around them and let Willard and Msty handle them. As the kids drew near, R0se charged forward, jumping and flipping over the childrens' heads and pushing them towards Willard and Misty. She then charged at Ginger, aiming a high kick at the woman's head. With Rose evading the two other toy soldiers, the two rushed both Willard and Misty. Willard was getting attacked by a boy with buzzsaws for hands that would started spinning at his will while the girl had a machete arm and a hook hand coming after Misty. Ginger needed to put an end to this. With the first kick to the head that R0se threw, Ginger brought the umbrella up to defend the kick. At that moment, she twisted a mechanism for a blade to emerge forth at the tip of the umbrella Get ready to become my shish kabob. going for the thrust towards R0se's chest.
Shortly after Weber left from the examination room, he needed to check up on Caretaker, since he was not picking up his line. Coming into his office and finding him laid out unresponsive and dead as a doornob, Weber called up Ginger Ginger...Ginger are you listening!!? Ginger was in the middle of trying to stop R0se and defending herself Yes yes I'm here you little troll what do you want!? I'm a bit busy at the moment. Weber was heading down to the bunker while speaking Caretaker is dead...I think that man...that guy that brought the child and tattooed woman killed him because I don't see him anymore! With widened eyes, Ginger responded Oh come on...are you serious!? They managed to take him down too?? She said on the commlink Yes which means you and I are in charge now and we have no alternative but to set him free... Weber, you know how dangerous that boy is...he could very well come after us too! Weber gritted his teeth, Well we don't have much of a damn choice now, do we!? I'm setting him free and he's going to have to clean house for us...if we don't, everything we worked for will go down the toilet...now I don't want to hear anymore disapproval from you..I'm letting him loose. You finish what you're doing and as soon as you can check with the others to make sure we are secure. We will need to get out of his path... he finished, shutting the comm off, making it into the bunker. [@Necrophage][@Wick][@RumikoOhara][@pugbutter][@alexfangtalon]
