Cody Bloodstein and Sora Kaze

Cody wiped the sweat from his brow, grimacing slightly as he shakily got back to his feet. He had to use his sword to steady himself before he could now face the unimpressed Sora standing before him. "Is that really the extent to your strength kid?" He asked with a sigh as he tossed a scroll from one hand to the other. ...That scroll. That was the whole reason why Cody was so battered and bruised right now. This man said he was going to be busy and had something he wished to discuss with Cody, the gist of it being what was on that parchment of paper. However he said he wanted to see fight Cody first? Was this guy seriously going to be busy? He had enough time to start a fight after-all. "Not only is your sword-skills beyond pathetic, your magic is also below average at best. No imagination whatsoever, generic. Boring. I doubt you could cause trouble for a three year old." Sora's tone was casual, but his words were harsh and unforgiving. Each insult he threw Cody's way just made the youth angrier. What the hell did this guy now anyway?! "Hell you can't even use your sword and magic at the same time yet. And you seriously want to bring an entire dark guild down? An absolute riot you are." Sora stepped to the right as Cody swung at him for what felt like the fiftieth time tonight, his blade harmlessly stabbing into the dirt and now Cody was met with Sora's knee crashing into his abdomen. The blow winded the young mage as he crumpled to the ground, causing Sora to sighed loudly once again. "See? You're armed, I'm not. You haven't even forced me to use any magic yet, but here you lay, battered, beaten and bruised. However-" "Shut it." Sora blinked in suprise as Cody cut him off and began pushing himself back up once more. "I...I just need to land a blow right? That was the wager. I'll show you...you arrogant bastard." Cody mumbled, the strain on his face clearly showing as he bought his sword back to a ready position. Sora wasn't going to lie, this kid while he was weak was at least determined. Sighing heavily again, Sora shoved his hands in his pockets and much to Cody's surprise now turned to leave. After taking a few steps Cody now called out to him. "H-hey where the hell are you going?!" Cody went to follow, but found he couldn't walk straight just yet and almost stumbled facefirst into the ground. Sora stopped for a moment and glanced over his shoulder, shaking his head in mild disbelief. "I grow bored of this. Maybe I'll show you the scroll another time kid, right now I don't think you're strong enough to handle the responsibility I've had to shoulder for the last couple of years." Sora now turned to go again but not without one more comment. "Never give up kid, you're too weak to be afforded that luxury." And with that Cody was alone with nothing but the cold night air and moonlight to keep him company. That didn't exactly help her mood, then again she was a pretty moody girl sometimes so it wasn't difficult. "Hmm? Is that so?" The pyromancer hummed as Argus [s]finally[/s] returned the introduction. So he was new to the guild as well? Suppose they were in the same boat then. "Argus Leandros?" Ash repeated softly, whether or not he heard her didn't really seem to bother her though. The name seemed to roll off the tongue easily enough, so she repeated it a few more times in her head while happily munching on....what the hell is this? Looking down at the cake-like item in her hand she shrugged her shoulders before eating the rest of it. It wasn't bad, whatever the hell this was. But man the food was fancy here... She was snapped out of her rather pointless thoughts about the strange looking cake by Argus speaking up again. After the second silence he went into, she had legitimately forgotten about him due to how distracted by the cake she had been. He now went on to say one of the most awkwardly spoken compliments of all time, to the point that Ash simply couldn't help but laugh at his obviously nervous demeanor. "You think so?" Ash responded, the question more directed to how she looked good in it than anything else. She didn't think such a thing was her style, but then again she honestly didn't care much for fashion. She was always more interested in fireproof clothes than flashy clothes, after all if it couldn't survive her magic then owning it would be pointless. Might as well walk around naked then, as that's what would happen. "I know right? I don't like it one bit myself. It doesn't suit my style ya know? I like to be able to run, duck, punch, sway...you know. Melee, up close and personal fighting. Close enough to see the fear in their eyes as you punch their lights out." Ash did a few movements to indicate what she was talking about it, which would've looked weird and spontaneous from any onlooker's perspective. "Though I do wonder if it would rip or burn away first." She added thoughtfully as she gave him a subtle hint as to what her magic might entail. Not that the hint would matter anyway because she was about to tell him anyway. "My magic? Well I suppose Fire Magic would be the best way to describe it." Ash now realised her plate was empty as she went to grab another morsel from it but all she managed was air. She couldn't eat this! "Since I told you mine, it's only fair right? What magic do you use?" Ash asked, glancing about the room as she was starting to feel restless. She needed to do something, fight, move...something. "I mean you sorta give off a...weird vibe. Familiar too. Though I can't quite place my finger on it."
Angela Terra and Lilith Johnson

[@Oblivion666] When Indigo started chuckling for no apparent reason naturally Angela looked up at him with a slight bit of concern. She was fairly used to the crazy antics of her fellow guild members, but despite Indigo's rather...eccentric ways, he was still one of the less crazier ones. Most of the time anyway, Angela had yet to see anything otherwise anyway. So she wasn't too sure why he was laughing like that all of a sudden, nor did Lilith who looked at him quizzedly without dropping her spine-chilling smile. It wasn't until Indigo gave Angela that look that she realised why. She wasn't stupid, he was about to do or say something stupid here but he didn't care. Angela couldn't suppress the small giggle she let out into Indigo's shirt at his response now. Lilith however didn't seem to see the funny side as her eyes darkened and it felt a lot darker and colder now than it should. Lilith's smile didn't budge an inch despite the annoyance her eyes now clearly conveyed to her fellow guildmates. However the annoyance and the chilling presence she let out quickly vanished, her eyes lighting up with amusement while her smile widened. "That was exactly why I was asking you. Arthur for such a great dance partner, he is a boring man...all he ever sprouts is Georgie." Lilith spoke with a playful tone as she took a few steps towards Indigo. "James is always following that Jessica girl around like a puppy...it's quite adorable actually." Lilith was now standing a few inches away from Indigo and Angela, her smile not fading for a moment....until now. "And I can't stand that disgustingly pure Manami, nor her little puppet Shiro....oh I don't think you would know, but those two are part of the reason why Georgie is calling us back. They started a fight...and well the idiots couldn't even pick one they could win. Laughable isn't it? The one who is always preaching went and started a fight with a light guild?" Lilith spat out her words as she talked about Manami, causing Angela's grip on Indigo's shirt to tighten. Especially when she went on to mention that, more or less, they had gone and lost to a light guild. Lilith seemed to notice Angela's reactions to the news about Manami, her smile soon reappearing as a result. "Oh don't worry little one they're fine, unfortunately. Well as fine as you can be after being absolutely humiliated like that. Though Manami seems a little worse for ware, such a shame that, Shiro is her usual boring self. I wouldn't have mentioned them otherwise." Lilith turned her attention back to Indigo now. "And the only other member I can find right now is...well I'm sure little Angela here knows who. I would rather not hang around a man that reeks to the high heavens of rotting corpses. Especially one that might find someone like myself a most...delectable snack. And not in the way I would like it to be." Lilith added vaguely as she got up on her tiptoes and wrapped her arms around Indigo's shoulders, leaning in close to his ear as she pressed her voluptuous frame into him. "I would rather travel with someone who is a little more willing to...have some fun." She whispered softly and suggestively into his ear before letting go and taking a few steps backwards. "The night isn't getting any younger now is it? While I would love to have some fun in the capital since I'm rarely ever here...we do have a deadline to return by unfortunately, so it'll have to wait till next time. We all leave tonight, all nine of us."
