I think you mentioned that Kefka would already know Terra's location, so Mateus isn't really changing that aspect. Of course, I'm under the impression that Kefka (alongside Mateus) actually wants Terra [i]captured[/i], not [i]killed[/i], so this does impact how Kefka needs to go about approaching her. Since Zidane's goal is to 'protect Terra', all Mateus/Kefka would need to do is make Zidane aware of her name and then things get interesting, because they could try to convince Zidane to bring her back to them so she doesn't have to be killed.

I'm basically going under the assumption that Jegran would attack Layle until confirmed otherwise. This actually means that the World of Balance group actually has it the roughest (thankfully, Terra isn't as low tier as she seems, and I've got a trump card with her that I'm looking forward to using, so I sort of [i]want[/i] them to be overwhelmed), whereas the Mist Cave group will have to deal with Exdeath and whoever/whatever Mateus sends to wipe out Firion.
