Shu did wonder if Takeshi was giving his full attention and frantically looked around for him until the lights almost blinded him, rubbing his eyes quickly before shaking his head. Now he couldn’t see the crowd at all which was a little worrying but hopefully not entirely a sign of danger. He had to try and win to please his brother that was for sure and to not raise any suspicions that he was a little bit worried that he was going to end up screwing everything up. It had been a long enough day without too many alarm bells, but then again he was only good at watching what he was saying rather than observing his own actions. A lot of the time he acted without thinking which was probably a problem in their eyes but he had always done that to get around. He could do it this time, he could try and act at least a little bit normal while fighting. All he had to do was get the guy on the floor and keep him there for a bit or toss him out like in the tournament, or at least that’s what he assumed was the only ways to win. Hearing and seeing who he was up against had him rubbing his hands together, staring at him as he practically towered over him. These Uuonians sure did vary in size and this guy was one of the largest he had seen in a while up close so naturally he was a little worried. He just needed to be smart about this, treat the guy like he was a large predator wanting to eat him. Looking to the announcer as he gave them both instructions he squeaked a little, nodding before watching him leave. So it was just like he thought so shouldn’t be too bad, he just had to not get caught. He greatly disliked it when people held him tight so he would prefer it if he was knocked out if he had to lose at some point. That wouldn’t be very pleasant though, so he had no other option other than to win if he could. Watching his opponent he didn’t make much of a move other than shift his feet, almost looking like he was waiting for his opponent to make a move. If he knew how the man was going to react then it would be pretty good for him to figure out how to counter it. Backing off as the Uuonian moved closer he dropped his stance as he noticed him starting to make a move to attack, springing into the air when he saw it was a sweep attack. With his jump Shu had aimed to jump at the man’s head, springing off while also wrapping his tail around the man’s neck, pulling down as he bounced to the ground. That probably wouldn’t take out someone as big as this guy but it was still something to get him started. Landing on all fours Shu quickly bounced around again, throwing his feet forward as he tried to retaliate against any attempt to get back at him and attack.
