Sonus looked around, seeing nothing but the darkness. He was afraid, until he noticed a few other people. Then the dark man spoke as weapons rose from the ground. It was with a smile and a cackle Sonus grabbed the weapon, whatever it was, and accepted. "I will fight the darkness that took my home."

Sonus awoke on a ship with a frown. Pirates? Stange looking pirates at that. Upon being told to move, he willingly followed, though not without a scowl of distrust to the things he passed. However, as he walked, he heard multiple conversations going on and picked up bits and pieces of information. He then heard something about Heartless.

"What are Heartless?" he asked, stopping to look at the man who mentioned it. "What do they look like?" He had a feeling the name of the creatures of shadows and darkness that attacked and destroyed his home were these Heartless they spoke of. But he couldn't be sure. [i]Are they really called that or are they something different completely?[/i]
