[@Ozerath] Hmm, well, for the offshoot route to be possible, they would probably need to share the same homeworld as humanity. Unless [@ONL] changed his mind, he is possibly going to play play humanity's homeworld.

Although I'm sure something can be arranged. And if not, the second idea for the Concordat is also a good route to take.
