Swen & Eith
Friday Night The magierprinz returned to his … her room, opening the door with a quick twist of the key before entering and looking around. It seemed she was able to make it back today before the puppy had, and truthfully any plans of enjoying the weekend before the adventure were ruined. Placing the clothes down on the nearby dresser, Selvina looked towards Eith laying on the bed. Apparently she had gotten home first. Truthfully, Swen just wanted a little bit of time alone. But … this was just going to be a bad day, wasn’t it? ”... hi …” Really, there was a shred of hope the same sort of shenanigans in the library wouldn’t happen again. Eith sat straight up. It had been a little bit since she got back and she got tired of sitting there watching the door. She was almost ready to twist herself up in her keeper’s blankets. ”Welcome back. . .” She watched the girl, studying the changes. The most notable change was the back end. Still, Meal-Ticket would probably get mad if it was brought straight up. ”Clothes?” The one named Selvina nodded, before looking at the bed with a quizzical look. Didn’t the hellhound usually prefer to stay on the floor, curled up into a small corner? What was the girl doing on the bed. ”Yes, I had to make some purchases. This form is different, although these robes don’t feel too bad. Anyways, why are you laying on my bed?” ”Just waiting. I was curious if you would change looks again by time you got back.” Well, the rest of that didn’t need to leave Eith’s mouth to get the point across. Still, Eith was over her tactful moments. ”At least it should feel softer if you fall to your rear.” Selvina blushed as the puppy simply started making commentary about the new body. Sighing, she walked over to the new pile of clothes and looked through them a bit before pulling out a small nightgown that had been purchased along with a new pair of black and rather frilly underwear. Taking off the robe, the girl spoke while looking away. ”I guess that’s true. Still though, you seem to be paying a lot more attention to me like this? Got a crush or something, puppy?” If Swen was going to go through the puppy’s comments, he would at least make fun of the beast a little. ”Crush? I don’t understand. I pay more attention because this interesting.” Eith said as she looked over still. ”Still, I do find the female body more interesting than the male one. It’s more squishy and comfortable.” Eith said as she brought her hands up to bring attention to her own endowments. ”Wouldn’t you agree on that?” Selvina changed clothes quickly, dropping the old underwear to the ground before sliding the new ones up and after a brief struggle with the top managing to get it on. Honestly, it was a little cute. The thin nightgown was on afterwards, and the girl returned to the bed after taking another cursory look at the mirror, sitting down on it’s edge. ”That is something I would have to agree with, I suppose.” It probably wouldn’t be worth mentioning that it didn’t mean the girl suddenly had permission to pinch and grab the new body. Eith still hadn’t let the bed. Raising an eyebrow, the magierprinz looked the puppy over. ”... so … erm … you gonna hop out?” It wasn’t exactly an elegant way of handling the girl, but Swen couldn’t get it together enough to consider being polite. Eith just looked Meal-Ticket in the eyes and looked like she had an epiphany. ”Oh. You’re right. This is why you’re a student.” Eith hopped up off the bed and made her way around, towards her corner. . . But took another right towards where Meal-Ticket was sitting near the edge of the bed and got a closer look at her chest. ”I have been curious. This seems to be a point of charm on humans, but that woman made your bottom bigger.” Unsure what to call them exactly, she just poked at the bumps on Meal-Ticket’s chest. The magierprinz winced as his breasts were poked again. Apparently while being male, the puppy hadn’t been too interested. But overall, the magierprinz was simply done with her shenanigans. Standing up, Selvina raised an eyebrow at the puppy. ”Did I say you could touch me?” If Eith didn’t catch the irritation in her keeper’s voice, she had no insight into other people’s emotions. ”. . . .” Eith wasn’t sure what that meant exactly. Irritation was in her voice. Actually, it was a bit cute from a dissonance of the old voice she had in her head and what she heard now. It was a bit humorous. . . But still irritated. Why would Meal-Ticket sound so irritated she was getting touched? . . . . ! ”Oh, I think I get it. Were you wanting to compare? Or touch me? I guess it’s only fair. I don’t mind.” She just tilted her head at her companion in wonder. The magierprinz blinked once or twice. Was she genuinely this unaware of her actions? Selvina looked the girl straight in the eye. ”No. That’s not what I’m saying.” Failing to keep her voice in check, the girl’s look turned a little hostile as she looked at the ignorant creature. ”Since it’s quite apparent you have had zero interest in learning how to fit into our society, let me make this clear to you. You don’t touch people without their permission. You don’t hop in someone’s bed unless you are close friends, their familiar, or their spouse. You call people by their name. I have a name: Sw-” The newly made girl paused for a moment before gathering herself together. ”My name is Selvina, at least while I’m in this … body, Eith.” Sighing with irritation, the girl calmed down a bit. Her voice softened a little. ”Look, I’m sorry, but this has been running through my head for a while. I’m having a really bad day - yes, for the reason you are thinking. I’m done putting up with your shit, Eith. I’m tired of being called ‘Meal-Ticket’, and have only been calling you puppy in retaliation. You’re not even my familiar and you are just stressing me out.” The girl’s eyes watered slightly as she finished. Eith was. . . Taken aback, to say the least. So many things to process her head started to turn bright red. The tips of her hair started to catch flame before they extinguished themselves seconds later, smoking slightly from the charred fringes. ”Ahh. . . Uhhh. . .” Her face was more than warm to the touch and her eyes looked as if they were staring a hole straight ahead. She took a step back and lightly vented flames through her nose. Soon, the flames stopped as well as Eith in general. For a few seconds she stayed still until she brought a hand to her temple. ”Ouch.” She said, looking to Meal-Ticket again after having cooled down and removing her hand. A look of shame and embarrassment covered her face. ”I. . . See.” Eith wasn’t sure where to start. . . But she had answers for most of the issues that Meal-Ticket stated. ”I do have zero interest of fitting in. That is, human convention is confusing. Demon, Shellagh and Human societies vary so differently, nor did I think I would stay here long anyhow.” Eith told her human partner. ”Not long enough to matter, at the least.” Her speech patterns seemed to turn a bit more monotone as she keeps talking. ”I’m aware of names. I have one as well, that aside, I find it difficult to remember them when they have nothing to do with the being.” Eith pointed to Swen then to herself. ”To me, you are my meal-ticket. Therefore, Meal-Ticket. That girl with you when we first met. She wielded a sword, therefore, Sword-girl. Shellagh names are that simple.” Of course, Eith forgot to mention her species’ own tongue. . . But details. ”And then. . . And. . . then. . .” Eith froze up in her speech. What else was she going to say? She forgot. ”What else was there . . .” She asked herself looking at the ground as if it had answers. Selvina did her best to maintain a blank expression as she provided the next prompt. ”Touching and beds.” ”Touching. . . And beds. . .” Eith mouthed after Selvinia, as she now called herself. ”Touching is an essential part to kinship. Oft times the whole pack would sleep together side by side. There’s nowhere especially private in such times, nor anything to avoid touching.” And beds. . . Well, to be fair, Eith did understand the private use of beds. . . That said, ”It’s more comfortable to sit on the bed than the floor, if I’m to stand in the end anyhow. You were not sleeping yet, as it were. So I considered it a fair enough act.” The magierprinz raised an eyebrow at that. Collecting her arguments for a few seconds, the noble delivered a response. ”Well, we have privacy now and a much larger room than wherever you were. And if you aren’t willing to at least call me something I like, then we aren’t kin. I’m not sure what gave you the idea I was, if all I did was make a silly deal with you and promise to give you cash for nothing in return. You’re not exactly cheap, you know.” At that point, it was as if a cover was taken off Eith’s eyes, the red in her face faded a bit to her darkened skin and she seemed to come to. ”I. . . What. . . Happened?” She blinked a couple of times as she started to realize that something happened. . . But. . . What? She looked to Selvinia for an answer. The magierprinz looked at the hellhound, raising an eyebrow. Selvina raised an eyebrow. ”... did you just forget our entire conversation?” If that was the truth, the puppy was going to have to accept a summary of it or get kicked out. The noble was on their final straw. ”I’m. . . Sorry. It’s a curse. Not, literally. Just. . . Alpha’s thought process is stronger than a normal pack-mate. But there are limits. I think that was a . . . Protection. I don’t know what I said, but it was true.” Eith informed her meal-ticket. A little afraid of what she said. It wasn’t likely something to worry about. ”Curse of the Alpha some call it. It’s just a magical protection from burning out, I’ve been told.” Selvina simply delivered herself a facepalm. Then she took out a sheet of paper from the nightstand and a small ink-containing magical quill. ”Can you read?” ”Demonic.” Eith replied, looking at the piece of paper and the quill. ”What for?” The magierprinz sighed and tried to maintain a steady voice. ”Nevermind.” Selvina then forced her voice to be stern, and some irritation seeped in as well. ”I’ll summarize our conversation. Call me by my name, which currently is Selvina. Don’t touch me unless you are given permission. My bed is my own, unless I invite you in. Understood? Do you need to write these things down?” The quill and paper were placed onto the bed as Swen waited for a response. ”What good is there to write down something that may just burn away soon or later.” There was no ire, just a fact stated. Then she moved on, ignoring parts of what the girl said. ”Regardless, there is no way I will remember Sell-vin-e-a.” If this were a summery, then likely she would have spoke of the issue in her trance, no? The magierprinz nodded. ”You said as much earlier. If you didn’t call me meal ticket, what else would you call me?” The man/woman was genuinely curious about what the girl would say. This was a trick question wasn’t it? The first thing that came to mind was probably the worst thing she could say in this situation, but her mouth worked faster than her brain could stop it. ”Soft-Butt-Girl.” It came out as the honest truth. That was definitely the biggest defining factor at the moment. ”O-of course, I could just call you something in our language. Akin to my name. . .” Selvina just looked at the puppy and burst out laughing after a second. It seemed the poor thing was truly incapable of any real rational thought in the long term ... It took a bit, but eventually the girl recovered. ”No. No more suggestions. Call me ‘Keeper’ since it is more accurate than meal-ticket anyways. I do more than just feed you, you live under my roof. Understood?” That. . . That made sense. But “Keeper” was such a dominant word. ”Caras” Eith said, as she looked Selvinia in the eye as if haggling for a flank steak or something of the sort. Confidence shone in her eyes as she looked on. The nobleman raised an eyebrow. Caras? What … ”Eith, tell me what that means?” The girl seemed slightly suspicious, and likely for good reason … Eith looked around. Unsure if the person would approve of it. . . But hoped since it wasn’t bad really. . . Really. . . ”It’s a word in my tongue, of course. . . It means Caretaker[/] and a word similar to the one you want.” Of course, Eith didn’t tell the human her reason was to pick a word less dominant sounding. The noblewoman thought about it for a moment. ”I wouldn’t mind being called ‘caretaker’ in either tongue.” For probably the first time in a while, the girl wiped her eyes off and gave Eith an honest, non-derogatory smile. Still though, a thought popped into Selvina’s head. ”On another note, what’s your end plan? Do you intend on becoming someone’s familiar eventually, is there anyone you’d serve or care about? Leaving for your own adventures? Surely you can’t just intend to have me take care of you forever, even if I do feed you a lot.” ”Have I not mentioned my goal? Mayhap it missed the mark.” To be fair, it was a topic she avoided typically. ”I intend to re-organize my pack, eventually. I wouldn’t need your assistance then. Mayhap, I could help in return. That’s for fate to tell.” Eith was too proud to have someone call her a servant after all. An ally, maybe, but not a servant. ”My pack was destroyed. Effectively. So I want to restart and have vengeance. Simple.” Selvina nodded, looking towards the puppy. ”Well, I wish you the best of luck in that endeavour. Personally, you were difficult enough to deal with on your own in that tavern, so rounding up a bunch of angry hellhounds isn’t on the menu any time soon.” ”Yes. I was rather holding back then. It’s how you caught me in that trap as you did.” Eith looked around for a second. Caras didn’t seem to appreciate when she was touched, so even if she meant not a word of it. . . ”Listen. . . I’ll apologize for touching you, but I was merely trying to understand your situation. I feel us both having had issues with Myrilla was enough reason for us to be closer. But I understand if you don’t desire it.” Selvina raised an eyebrow as Eith said that. ”No - no, don’t misunderstand me. I don’t mind that making us closer … just … don’t grab me like that, alright? I doubt you’re interested in me in that manner, and I only intend only having sexual relations with my familiar or my spouse.” ”Wha. . .” Eith was mildly confused. Just a few questions really, but. . . ”Grab you like what? What do you mean you only intend having sexual relations with your familiar or spouse? Well, that is, what does this have to do with that?” She just came right out to say it. She didn’t get the relationship between the two. The magierprinz facepalmed, hard. ”Eith. Up here grabbing the breasts or butt is considered a sexual move. It’s not sex, but it’s something that … turns one on. Doing it to people who you aren’t involved with is considered impolite. Don’t do it, alright?” That was odd. Humans were odd. ”So, did that mean it “turned one on” when I did it earlier?” She had to ask. One thing lead to another when it came to a curious being. ”Should I have you do it to me, Caras, so I can figure it out? Or, would that being impolite?” She had to ask herself more that Caras. The girl laughed. ”That … that would be considered impolite. I’m going to bed now … goodnight.” If Eith didn’t have anything else to say, Selvina would yawn and lay down in the bed and pull the sheets over herself. Eith looked down at Caras and then to her own body. She was curious what made the act so “Sexual” as her caretaker put it. She tested the waters with her own body. . . It was. . . Rather, what was this? It didn’t really feel like anything. . . Yet, it was also . . . ”How odd. . .” The magierprinz simply rolled their eyes. ”Just be quiet about it. I’m trying to sleep.” Eith decided in the end, that it would be best to just go to bed. ”I’m a quiet sleeper thank you.”
Luna and Sorcha
Luna sat at home after returning quickly from picking something light up a store. She didn’t really need much herself. Today was probably a good day to eat lightly since Sorcha decided to not show up. It was just some simple bread and honey. Something sweet but simple. The Knightess just sat there, relaxing and lightly snacking on bread and honey until her familiar returned. Not that she had much else to do right now. . . Not like the Teacher Doll gave her homework or anything. For once, the dragon decided to use the front door instead of the window. After staying out that late with Maoin, Kirwen, and generally training she was in a rather upbeat mood. It had been quite some time since she had whipped anyone into shape quite like that, and it was a refreshing experience. Also, she was just slightly drunk but that was nothing to worry about at all. She was a dragon, she could handle a few drinks, heh. “Luuuna, are you home yet?” The dragon asked, walking into the room, noticing the knight snacking on what looked like some sort of honey and bread. Not exactly a hearty meal, but certainly sweet. The dragon closed the door behind her, walking over to the bed and flopping down on it with a yawn as she started to remove her armor. She looked in Luna’s direction, giving her a friendly smile. “Oooh, that looks delicious. Mind sharing? Or would you rather help me out of this armor?” She teased. Luna looked over her shoulder at Sorcha entering. Someone finally got home, did she? ”Oh yes, I’m home and I’m sure you’ve had your fair share of delicious things today.” Luna said without answering the question and plopping a piece of honeyed bread into her mouth, chewing. ”Where were you all day?” Making sure not to let loose a slight bit of concern and really even mild interest. “Hmm? Oh you know, the usual.” The dragon replied as she tossed off her boots. “Waaah, my feet hurt…Should have asked Maoin for a foot massage…hm, maybe tomorrow.” She idly said to herself before continuing. “Went to the lake, had a nice soak…played with a rather adorable kitten and took her to dinner, heh.” The dragon replied, not even slightly picking up on Luna’s disinterest. Instead, she turned her head to the bread and honey again as she managed to pull off her bracers and started working on the chest piece. “Anything particularly fun happen in those silly classes of yours?” ”Oh, I only had the one today. It was a bit long, but ended rather abruptly when the doll teaching it ran out like a berserk warrior.” Luna said while she was still honeying up another piece of bread and then plopped it in her mouth again, chewing before speaking again. ”I came back after helping someone find a tailor, hoping you’d be ready for lunch or dinner but you were nowhere to be found. I waited for an hour or two, but you never returned. So I just went and got something light.” Her disinterest in her own story likely should have resonated to the dragon this time. Surely. “Uhm?” Was Luna…upset because she had made plans without telling her? Or was it the waiting part? She honestly couldn’t tell. “Sorry?” She unfastening the straps on the chest piece pulling the last bit of the armor off with ease. She stretched, giving Luna quite the show in her usual fashion and glad to finally be out of it. “We can go for a fancy dinner or something after you get back from wherever you’re going Sunday.” The dragon seemed completely oblivious of any wrongdoing on her part. ”Sorry, are you? What are you sorry for? I didn’t accuse you of anything did I?” Luna mentioned, finishing up the last of her honey bread, obviously miffed and not even looking at Sorcha’s “show”. Luna honestly didn’t understand why she felt like this. Jealousy? Worry? It didn’t feel like either of those to her. Still, she kept the unreasonable attitude up. ”Even if you did do something wrong, dinner wouldn’t be the point.” “Erm, Luna, my little Knight, is something the matter?” Sorcha questioned, sitting on the edge of the bed. This attitude seemed vaguely familiar, but she couldn’t quite place it. “If you have something you wish to discuss I am all ears…as slightly tipsy as those ears might be, hehe.” She chuckled. Luna looked back to Sorcha with slight irritation on her face. ”What’s there to discuss with a drunk dragon?” She asked her familiar. She wouldn’t mind it normally, but it just irked her at the moment. ”If I did have something to discuss, you probably wouldn’t remember anyhow.” Okay, something was definitely wrong here. The dragon frowned, giving Luna a slightly questioning expression. For the life of her, she couldn’t think of anything she might have done to warrant this sort of behavior. They had not made plans before, so she hadn’t forgotten to meet her. “Luna, please if-” She stopped herself mid-sentence, as she realized what was going on here. Now, she may have been drunk, but she was also a drunk dragon. If there was one thing dragons could recognize, it was jealousy. Sorcha held a hand over her mouth, trying to stop herself from bursting out into laughter. She raised an eyebrow, poorly hiding her snickering. “Somebody’s jeeealous~” Luna looked forward. Jealous? That didn’t feel right. No. Not especially. Close, perhaps. ”No, it’s because you didn’t let me know you would be gone.” Well, Luna figured it out at least. She did feel like she wasted a few hours she could have spent doing something else. ”I might have even tried to surprise you with something, but I wasted my time sitting around here waiting for you.” “Pfft, come on Luna, lying isn’t fun! You’re totally jealous! I’m a dragon. I know jealousy when I see it! You’re completely jealous that I spent all day with someone else and not you!” The dragon laughed brightly. That said, if she was jealous, this was a totally unexpected development. And well, the dragon would be completely negligent not to have a bit of fun with this, heh. With a small smirk, the dragon stood from where she was sitting and walked over to Luna in a fairly suggestive manner, sitting on the table next to her. “But, you are my little Knight after all…and it would be extremely negligent~” ”If it were jealousy, I would have felt jealous hearing that you were with Maoin but I. . . I. . .” Luna paused, remembering her encounter with Gwynn earlier in the day. She forgot whatever disappointment she had and thought on Maoin and Gwynn. ”You said Maoin right? Do you know what happened to Gwynn, her master?” “Gwynn?” Sorcha hummed. “You don’t know? She left. Headed out on some errand for Livia without a word to anyone, left Maoin behind and everything. The poor little one is absolutely devastated. I’ve been trying to keep her from doing anything drastic, buuut…” The dragon smirked. “That’s irrelevant, my jealous little knight.” The dragon leaned over, getting off the table and…sitting right in Luna’s lap. “Still feeling jealous?” She wrapped an arm around Luna’s shoulder. ”Sorcha. Get off. Now’s not a good time to joke around.” Luna gently dropped Sorcha off her lap and she stood, walking to the window and opened it, letting a bit of fresh air in. ”Maybe you just need to sober up a little bit. When you calm down a little we’ll talk.” Luna wasn’t especially entertained, either by Sorcha’s actions or Gwynn leaving. “Tsk, and here I was trying to lighten the mood.” Sorcha sighed as she was shoved off of Luna. “You were so comfortable too~” She chuckled, before shaking her head. “I’m fine, Luna. It’ll take a lot more ale then…erm, three mugs to make me of unsound judgment.” She didn’t seem too entirely certain on how many drinks she had. “I apologize if my behavior has offended, but I did not mean anything by not telling you.” ”I’m just mad you didn’t read the mood. You never really met Gwynn and Maoin. Well, I didn’t think you’ve met Maoin.” Luna said looking out the window. ”This morning I saw Gwynn as she left. I didn’t think too much other than it was odd. I’m just a little mad at myself for not saying more to her I guess.” “Haha, well, I am a fairly silly dragon sometimes.” Sorcha chuckled, walking over to the window next to Luna. The dragon yawned, resting her head on Luna’s shoulder. “You shouldn’t beat yourself up over it, Luna. I doubt there is anything you could have done. If Gwynn is anything like I think she is from Maoin’s description…well, we were quite a bit alike when I was younger, hehe. This would have happened eventually I think…or if not, Gwynn or Maoin, maybe even both, would have just continued to be unhappy.” Sorcha wrapped a wing around Luna, nuzzling her head a bit with her own. “I suppose I should tell you I am traveling with Maoin while you will be away Sunday. She wishes to find Gwynn, and It would be completely irresponsible for me to even think about letting that kitten go by herself.” ”. . . . Alright. Hehe. Thanks for telling me this time. I’ll know not to plan dinner for you that day.” Luna joked, still a bit somber, but more receptive. She seemed much happier than earlier. ”I’ll leave that matter in your hands and wings then.” She lightly tapped her head against Sorcha’s. “Well, if you’ll excuse me this slightly drunk silly dragon is a bit exhausted and has to get up early tomorrow, so I think I’m going to go ahead and sleep for the evening.” She plopped down on the bed, yawning again before proceeding to take up over half of the space on it, rolling herself up rather comically in the covers. Luna stood at the window while Sorcha went to bed. After about a minute, she looked over at the dragon. ”Thank you.”
Maoin & Kathrine
Sunday Morning Waking up sometime before dawn, the kitten found herself rubbing the sleep out of her eyes as she looked around briefly. Wh - Kathrine’s House. The girl’s body still felt sore from the previous day as she stretched, with every muscle in her body yelling at her to stop in the form of pain. She did her best to ignore the pain and make herself seem comfortable, but it seemed like every step for this day and probably the next was doomed to cause discomfort. It would probably be a good thing to tell the woman that she intended on leaving for some time. Standing up, she looked at one of the dolls going around the studio apartment and asked them to make the woman some coffee. ”I prefer tea actually. Not so harsh on the throat, but, I couldn’t expect you to know that after a day.” Katherine’s voice called out from the corner of the room with all her sewing supplies and such. In fact, she was already sipping on a cup of tea. ”Well, it’s good to see you up and well. You were quite warm last night while we slept.” She couldn’t help but giggle at that. The cat jumped slightly as she realized that Miss Lindall was already awake! Well, that was embarrassing. Instead, Maoin got herself a glass of water and sat down across from the teacher as she looked around for a second or two. No point in beating around the bushes ... ”I’m going after Lady Gwynn with Lady Sorcha, Miss Lindall. Thanks for letting me stay here, but this is something I need to do.” ”Hmmm, go after that idiot?” Katherine asked before sipping her tea. Hardly caring to mince words if the girl was going to say something all out like that. ”Well, do what you want. I was just told to watch over you while you’re here anyhow.” The teacher stood up and handed her cup and saucer to a couple of her dolls. She stepped over to a cabinet where she pulled out a nice navy blue dress. Sort of plain and simply but slightly frilly. ”Well, this is yours either way. I’ve no need to keep this on me.” She handed the dress over to Maoin gently, not wanting to ruffle the dress she and her dolls spent some time putting together. The kitten blinked as she looked at the dress she was handed. The second thing that she actually owned. It was a bit odd to receive such a gift, but having this would allow the girl to return the dress that she had borrowed without asking from Lady Lightsword. Looking up at Kathrine, a guilty look crossed her face. Had … had the woman intended on keeping her, or was this just friendly? ”T-thanks Miss Lindall. For everything. Do you mind if I go put it on right now?” The girl’s ears perked up slightly and her tail moved just a bit as she observed the garment, before looking back up at the woman. Katherine smiled slightly before looking only fakely annoyed, ”If you insist. Go ahead.” She couldn’t hide her excitement really. She just watch, less caring about looking at the cat and more making sure it fit in all the right places. ”And I tried adding in a hole for your tail since it’s a bit longer. Not that I was quite sure about how your body is set.” The Teacher sounded skeptical, but seemed to accept she did well on it. The cat nodded, heading over into the teacher’s bathroom and changing with surprising haste. Coming out a few seconds later and looking at a small mirror, the girl looked at the garment. Cute, adorable, and surprisingly well fitted. Her tail danced around outside the tail hole for a moment as the girl did some final adjustments, moving some frills to just the right place. Eventually she headed over towards Kathrine with a small smile. ”... thanks … how do I look? It seems to fit well” Katherine looked the cat-girl up and down, skeptically studying how the dress fit. There were a few parts that could have been perfect, but it looks fine otherwise. ”It’s imperfect, but, you manage to pull it off I say.” Katherine giggled at her next thought, ”Natural charm, some might call it?” The Teacher looked over it one last time before resigning herself to it’s, albeit messy, completion. ”Sadly, this shouldn’t work all too well if you’re going on a journey, now will it?” The girl shook her head in response. ”Not if I intend on sleeping out in the woods often, but I’ll be sure to take good care of it!” Maoin let off a slight grin before seeming to hesitate for a moment. Kathrine would find herself being hugged by the girl tightly. ”I know you didn’t have to do this. You are a good person.” After a few seconds of embracing, the cat let go of the older woman. ”Is … is there anyway I could repay you? I know this isn’t a trade and I don’t have a lot to offer but …” It obviously made the girl a little uncomfortable to be in the debt of this woman. Katherine felt slightly uncomfortable to have the girl call her a good person. The hug was nice and soft, but the words. ”I’m not sure if there is a way you can repay. Besides, I’m not a good person.” Katherine lightly smacked the cat on the head, nothing painful of course, as she corrected the cat. ”You should remember that for your own self.” Well, Katherine really did just want to make something to take care of her charge. It ended up being something she wanted to do for the creature, mostly for this feeling of being appreciated. Something she sorely lacked from Fia when she rescued that girl. . . Oh. but that was that and this is this. ”I did it for myself.” Katherine unconvincingly said if her interest early were any indication. The kitten nodded, before waiting for a second. It would probably be polite to ask the teacher about her living arrangements in case anything went wrong. ”If I don’t have anywhere to stay after this, do you mind if I come back here? I don’t mean to impose on you, but this is much more comfortable than some alleyway …” ”Well, as far as I know, I was ordered to take care of you while you’re here. . .” Katherine scratched her head as she thought on it for a second, ”So, if you come back without that idiot I suppose this room should house you as well. Supposing you don’t. . .” The Teacher shrugged. Well, it wasn’t her problem then. Was it? ”Well, it wouldn’t matter much then I suppose.” The cat raised an eyebrow at the teacher. Was she depressed, or simply unable to show emotion? Either way, the cat let out a little yawn. ”Well … I’ve got to go! If anyone asks for my whereabouts, could you please tell them where I’m going Miss Lindall?” After a quick wave towards the teacher and collecting her things, the kitten would have head out the door, except. . . ”Hold on.” Katherine called out as a doll stood in the doorway. ”I’m curious what kind of journey you’re going on. I hardly get to leave the academy after all. Take that doll with you.” The Teacher nodded at the cat, encouraging her to take it with her. The kitten looked at the doll for a second, tilting her head at it. Such a strange thing, but it would be rude to not accept such a gift, right? It was possible that the woman was using it to spy on her … but Maoin figured it wouldn’t be too much of a problem, right? Nodding, the cat picked the doll up into her arms, and spoke as she gave Kathrine a final wave. ”Thanks again … I’ve got to get going! I’m sure she’ll tell you everything when she gets back.” And then she began her journey.
”Heh. You won’t have to tell me dear. I’ll be there with you.”
