[@Jacobite] Dragons can form a familial unit, especially with Dwarves and humans, but I have to say something about his Listener abilities awakening a long time ago. The longest I can allow for someone to have been a Listener already is a year, but it would still be okay for him to have had Oddisiel close-by for a long time. Their bond would just not have been as strong, only developing when his Listener abilities awakened. It would only be after that moment that Selwyn would have been able actually hear Oddisiel and not just analyse their body language. Unless this was already stated and I just misinterpreted.
