Base on Earth: The Northern Commonwealth States are a unified set of countries that were previously in the Commonwealth of Nations. The name is slightly misleading, as the countries include the Celtic States (Scotland and Ireland,) Mainland States (England and Wales,) The Oceanic States (New Zealand, PNG and Australia) and Canada.
Philosophy: Welcome to the new world part two baby. India had nothing on the jewel that is Gaia, and these guys intend to be the ones mining the jewel. It's all about the big bucks.
Leadership: Officially a democratic colony, unofficially ruled from London herself.
Religion: 'Christian,' although most of them are secular.
Misc: The fractured states of the NCS came together after the calamitous breakdown of the EU. With Scotland leaving the UK and Europe reeling, Canada and the UK came together to form an unexpected military nation, quickly joined by Australia and New Zealand. The Celtic States were quickly annexed, and they've been holding firm ever since.
