Fighting a Saiyan child was going to be exciting. On one hand Shu was just a boy who didn't look any older than 14 years and that was being generous, one would think their fight would be a snap. But there was the other part, the small detail that the boy was a Saiyan that was cause for concern. Deciding to start off simply with a sweep he moved in until he was within range and swung a leg around, his body twisting slightly in the momentum. Expecting Shu to either dodge or perhaps even block he'd not expected Shu to leap over it entirely and go on the attack, putting his tail around the Uuonian's throat and yanking him over backwards with surprising force. Struggling to remain upright he pinwheeled his arms and barely managed to catch himself on the way down only to be swiftly kicked in the rear by Shu. Unstable as he was Thal was thrown forward, tumbling head over heels awkwardly and nearly going off the arena almost immediately. Catching himself he dragged his hands along the floor and stopped, looking at Shu slightly amazed. Pushing off and breaking into a dash he tried to get back at Shu, jumping and spinning his body again, aiming a kick downward towards the young Saiyan. Takeshi fully expected Shu to mop the floor with this guy. For as much as his younger brother didn't like to fight that didn't mean he was bad at it and beating some random alien shouldn't be any problem for him. When Shu nearly kicked Thal out of the ring he was already cheering for his brother's victory only to promptly go silent when Thal stopped himself. He'd completely expected his brother to win quick just as Sasha and Ricken had, but then again he supposed the guy his brother was fighting did seem tougher than the other two. Thal was clearly the crowd favorite as the arena went nuts when he saved himself, and when he went on the offensive shortly thereafter everyone was cheering for him as well. Everyone save for Shu's older brother. "Come on buddy, kick his ass!" Takeshi shouted, probably drowned out by the multitude of voices around him, "You've got this!"
