The dwarf grunted a reply as he continued following the drone back to the ship. He was not used to traversing the forest ground without his machines however and he found himself stumbling over roots every now and then which make him slower than he preferred. Nevertheless, when he heard a shrill cry that he could only say was caused by a large sized monster, Aart quickened his pace. She attempted to dodge out of the way only to have Tsukiko tackling her as well, causing the two to stumble on the ground. After they recovered and stood up, Erica found that the demon had shifted its attention elsewhere. Looking at the bird, Erica let out a frustrated growl. A flying opponent was never her strong point and the bird's size here meant she can't simply attempt to grapple and wrestle it to the ground. Her instinct said that she'd better run and regroup first, although that would meant leaving the boys to be bird food. While she doesn't like Danny much, Nathan at least was a decent person.
