Priest

Priest is on the Scene:
Priest swerved around a final corner and pulled to a stop behind the van convoy. He drew in a deep breath. The sounds and smells of a war zone polluted the orphanage. It probably didn't help that a semi-living battering ram just shattered the front of the building and there was an aircraft strafing around one side. Chaos. Poor Priest didn't really know what to do with it. With a sigh he exited his car and approached a very focused robot. NERON watched the scene very carefully. He was leaning forward against a fence post that shuddered against the weight of the automaton. A light tap on his shoulder finally took his fierce attention away. NERON scanned Priest up and down. "Your heart rate is abnormally accelerated, Priest. Are you lightheaded, ill or-". Priest quickly cut the robot off. "Yeah, yeah. I get it Autodoc. Driving forty over the speed limit can do that to a heart." He wiped some of the ambient dust from his sleeve and addressed the next part of his plan. "Time you got in there Tinman. I'm here and I'll hold the gate. Just don't give me an excuse to show off." He sent NERON off with that same painting-like grin. NERON stood tall in a resolute salute so perfect it showed off how inhuman he was. The robot's voice however seemed to be anything but a steely construct. "Fulfilling Prime Directive: Protect the team at any cost!" He announced emphatically. NERON flexed his saluting arm into the air which whirred and unfolded into a great claw more akin to the jaws of life a fireman would use for emergency. "And to liberate their enemies of the option to harm them!" The field medic AI needed no further incentive to go in. NERON sprinted forward, jumping around debris in the yard to find a good entrance or make one in order to fulfill his orders.
Bob

Gatecrash!:
Bob looked around at the rubble. The building was starting to crumble and it seemed he had sparked a fire by breaking a few pipes unintentionally. He just shrugged at it and pressed on with his usual juggernaut sluggishness. The halls were getting much quieter. It would seem that the security force was thinning. Perhaps this would get a lot more boring than he thought it would. _______ Quincy looked panicked. Everything they had worked so hard to achieve was falling to pieces right in front of him. No answer from Caretaker. Guards were going quiet left and right. The twins were occupied and now even the orphanage's vaunted mother was pulled into mortal combat. They were screwed. He had to face the music. "Screw this and screw Weber. I didn't come here just to fall in open warfare. He's got a way out of this I know it!" He brandished his signature "cooking" knife and a sickeningly wide grin spread across his face. "Oh yes. I know you have something hidden away, Doctor." He whispered. Mickey was out of earshot and soon sight too as he headed down the corridor to one of Weber's labs. The good doctor himself was headed to the bunker and left his supplies unguarded for this tragic event. Quincy's eyes darted back and forth across the vials and bottles in the white medical cabinet like a child looking for the present with their name on it at Christmas. "Hah! There you are." He snatched a bottle filled with amber liquid labeled with a single word - "Quickening". A small dose was enough to grant the experiment children a boost of strength that sometimes even overpowered their small forms. He was bigger than that though. He would be better. He popped the twist-locked cap off and took a swig. He shuddered as it went down. It was like drinking uncooked rice and oil but the effect was nearly instant. He felt stronger, more energetic. He just hoped that the vile side effects he'd seen before wouldn't take effect until after he'd won this skirmish for them. Bleeding eyes. Doc had a cure for that somewhere - didn't he? No time to think about that! Quincy rushed down the hallway until he ran into a broad-shouldered giant of a man that seemed to fill the breadth of the hallway just by himself. "You're in a hurry." The golem speculated. Bob looked at the diminutive cook and frowned. He swept his hand at him like a man would a fly. There was no collision and the man simply vanished from before him. He stared carefully down the hall confused went a pang struck into his back. "Amazing! You don't have blood!" Quincy yelled in excitement. Bob dropped backwards with his elbow to slam the chef into the ground but he was still too damn quick. Quincy withdrew the knife and stepped back with minimal effort. "I know! Let's find out if you have guts too!" He grinned fiendishly. Bob lumbered back to his feet and barreled forward. Quincy slid right between his legs, chipping a gash into one of them on his way through with the knife. Bob grunted as he swung back around with the closest arm in an attempt to catch the cook. Before he could tell what happened his arm all the way up to his elbow slammed against the floor and Quincy was in his face grinning madly. The knife was pressed deeply into Bob's abdomen with little effect. The golem lurched forward, intent on taking the bold cook with him into the wall. "Get off, gnat!" He roared. Quincy slipped his way through the golem's armpit this time. Poor Bob stared at his severed arm on the floor and then the hiltless blade imbedded in his chest and shrugged. He'd had worse days. Quincy noticed the blade stuck in his adversary's chest and did a double take at the handle that was once his favorite knife in his hand. His face lit up with red, a vein bulging at his temple. "That one was special! Now it's ruined!" He ground his teeth together, dropped the handle and burst forward with enough speed at Bob's armless side that he was helpless to block him. The golem went crashing through another wall, landing on his back. He rolled as quickly as he could back to a standing position. Quincy met him with a straight punch, knocking him through another cheap wall and splitting a bathtub in two as he crashed to the floor. Bob glanced up as Quincy stepped through the hole in the wall. The cook was not unscathed. His punching hand was covered in blood - the cook's own blood. Whatever strength this man had, it was not enough to keep his own body from shredding itself. The cook didn't give the poor clay man any quarter. He pressed forward and struck the golem's good hand aside and delivered a crushing blow to the top of the construct's head with his unsullied hand. Bob fell still. Quincy flexed his hands. He could feel the unsettling popping and grinding of his bones but felt no pain. A great feeling of accomplishment and pride welled in him so despite the gathering bleariness in his vision he pressed onward. The cook was going to keep their poor children(potential cuisine) from being kidnapped.
Priest

Gatecrash?: [@Vashonn]
Priest felt a sharp pain in his head, like a sudden and violent migraine. Master and construct of such close bond as he and Bob shared a metaphysical bond. Bob's life was just seriously threatened, causing him to go dormant as a precaution. Priest shuddered in pain for a brief moment. As it passed he came to a sudden and unsettling realization. He opened comms. "Everyone, we've got a problem." He was feeling rather foolish for trusting Bob too much to take care of business without even observing him. "Bob is down. I don't know who took him out but be aware that you have a serious threat on the loose." He warned them. He silently chided himself for being so stupid. ____________ Quincy ran down the halls. He felt so alive, like energy burned in every limb trying to find a way to escape. The cook couldn't help but laugh out loud while sprinting to the head mistress' aid as the giddy feeling overwhelmed him. (He's totally on a drug high!) There they all were, he could see them blurring in the doorway with motion. Blurring with motion? He laughed it off, that was definitely how he usually saw. Yes, certainly. The cook shoved several children aside, leaving his bloody marks on their clothing. He glared at the new child, his bloodshot eyes already starting bead up blood. "New child. I can't remember your name. Doesn't matter. You won't be leaving here, you won't be taking anyone - ANYWHERE!" That giddy feeling brimmed over and he started laughing again. Quincy was interrupted quite rudely as NERON flew through the window, projecting glass in a perfectly planned array as it missed all the children and knocked the cook across the room. It helps to be a living physics machine. That insane laugh ended in a raspy cough. The psycho cook spun back onto his feet and laughed some more between coughing fits. "Willard!" NERON called out in triumph. The aid-bot scanned the cook with a brief look and his warnings went off. "This human appears to be completely unstable. I am not noting his mental acuity. His muscles are going haywire and his sensory system is dying. Curious." NERON stopped analyzing Quincy as the deranged cannibal flew across the room to strike him. He deflected him with mechanical motion and used the man's own momentum to fling him to the other side of the room. "Willard please seek shelter in my chassis. I cannot defend you against this man in your state. Together we will finish this mission." NERON advised, keeping himself between the cook and his friend.
