Two familiar heartbeats were what awoke Byrce from his sleep. His ears flick as another gust of air passed around them, his nose testing the scents in the air. Thea’s heart was slow and yet oddly fast for a human, Zane’s heartbeat matched his own. Tail flicking as it slowly uncovers his face, Byrce uncurls from his position with a yawn. A paw lifts to rub at his eyes, his muscles stretching as he allows himself to fully wake up. Rising to his paws with another yawn, Byrce glanced at his friend and her companion before offering a soft bark in greeting. Moving forward to rub his nose against Thea’s cheek -a greeting as much as a way to see her squeak- Bryce stilled just inches from her when he caught a faint smell of rain. It had no particular smell despite being something of nature, snorting softly he gave his silent greeting to his friend. His greeting to Zane was to rub his cheek against the wolf's head, an instinct that his wolf seemed happy to give. Sitting on his haunches and debating for a moment, he tilted his head and taped his tail twice against the grass below him. What will we do? Was meant by the gesture, even though he couldn't speak they had a way of communicating that left others confused. He didn't care what they did, so long as he didn't have to return home until later. A lecture would be in store and he'd rather not fade his father until his own temper had calmed, nothing ever came from two angry Alpha’s quietly arguing with one another. Head tilted up to the sky Byrce took another sniff of the air, only to sneeze when the floral scents or the garden invaded his scenes. Shaking his form until he felt the last reminisce of sleep fade, Byrce turned and chuffed softly as he decided on where to go. Heading to the town would be fun in terms of seeing the items that were being sold, it also seemed boring in terms of he was always on edge around others. Funny considering how big his Pack was, maybe Thea would be up for exploring the forest in the east?
